East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It's Unmistakable

You know I think I haven't take a lot of surprises today. First I hear that one of the world's greatest leaders of all time happens to be alive. Who freakin knew Alexander the Great was still walking on this Earth? Now I cannot help, but wonder if there are any other legendary historical figures walking on this Earth going undetected. I mean can you imagine? Some of the people that have done so much to this world are still alive, watching, suffering the ache of wanting to do something to fix the mistakes that are going on in this world. It is a shame really I think. I mean if these people are alive like Alexander then they must be agonizing, wishing desperately to reveal themselves, and fix all of our problems. My goodness to imagine their look of disappointment on their face is rather sad in a way. When he mentions my Great Uncle's name I merely nod in reply. I know he was an important Dark Hunter, but I am not aware with his relations with others. The second surprise for the day is the fact that my Great Uncle, who has bluntly shown his detest for supernatural creatures, is in fact flirting with some sort of witch. The third shock today is the fact that someone seemed so willing to see my Uncle in such a way, as a man to flirt with. My God I guess there is such a thing as miracles and it would seem that my Great Uncle was blessed with not one, but two miracles â€" who knew someone could like him, and he would like that same person. Brightly I speak up with true shock in my voice at the realization that my Great Uncle was capable of doing something that I always thought was impossible.

"I wasn't always a Were...so don't blame him. As for him flirting with a witch, I didn't think it was possible for him to have affection for another, especially a supernatural."

For a moment I watch him finish his meal and drink his tea, as I retail perhaps the pain of the truth in his long life. It really isn't hard to notice that he seems awfully grumpy and moody. He really does remind me of my own Alpha and to be awfully honest it is a bit exhausting to be around someone like that all the time. I guess talking about 'what could have been' isn't the best thing to talk about or the fact that I mentioned he lived such a terribly lonely life. I really ought to remember that sometimes I shouldn't be so blunt and honest. I know I cant truly relate, but I do know what it is like to live without a family. It wasn't easy, but I think I managed to be okay. I am sure after eons and eons of life the pain must either be so numb that he doesn't care nor feel anything, or, the pain must deep and extremely painful. I do not think I should really try to find out. When he corrects me and mentions he is waiting for the next war in his humble café, I crack him a small smile attempting to bring a tinge of humor.

"With the way things are going we might actually be better off having you as an Emperor. I'm sure you could solve many of the problems. I am sure there will be a war for you to take part in."

I am not so sure if he would find what I say to be humorous, but it is said with complete honestly. I mean really we might be better off to have one ruler to calm everything down and get us to be better. Still though I guess I shouldn't worry about human affairs. I am a Were now, and right now, in the Were world things were going okay, but they would be better. I know I am young and I know I am not really considered for much, but even I can hear a thing or two about the Were world all by eavesdropping. I know that I shouldn't believe everything I hear and yet I am troubled. I haven't confronted Frost about it and yet I know eventually I will have to. I know I have overstayed my welcome far too long and I should really be on my way. Although I am not sure what I will do. I want to be alone and I don't want to be alone. I will not be going to my Uncle's I haven't seen him in a year and coming to him like this might not be wise. As for going back to the house where Frost and the pack stays, I do not think I could do that either. But I am sure I'll figure out where I will end up tonight, but for now, I think it is best I take my leave, but I want to at least do something nice for Alexander. I mean, I used his café as a sanctuary, I ate his food, and I guess I stepped over some lines I shouldn't have. I throw him a small smile as I willingly offer what I can for him, even though I do not think it is much.

"I do want to apologize for overstaying my welcome, but thank you for the food and the company. I know there is no need to mention it, but the fact that you are THE Alexander the Great, I'll keep this quiet of course. Before I leave, is there anything I can do for you, to say thank you for dinner? I could help you clean the dishes if you'd like?"
