East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

She wasn't quite expecting the man to agree to her idea of getting some coffee. Recently he had been quite busy. Leaving at different times during the day. Sometimes her mate was going with him other times he told him to stay put here. The last time she and her Alpha spent quality alone time together was when he whisked her away to Yellowstone National Park. It was fun to go about out there together doing what they wished. Although she didn't intend for them to interact with a mother bear and her child. It was rather fun she though, their little adventure together. Even more important he gave her that chance to learn how to howl, an ability that had been forcefully taken away from her. Raven approved his suggestion of which sort of bakery they should visit. The mention of the place being owned by a Were made her a bit curious. Did he want to use this opportunity to use her to speak to this other Were? He was an Alpha so it was no wonder he would be interested in claiming another to join their little family. Clutching the manila envelope closer to her she obediently followed him out of the room only to walk beside him down the corridor.

"What makes you think she's a reptile? Does she do that tongue thing, like Ralph the Komodo dragon? He and his reptile buddies stick their tongue out sometimes when they are humans."

As if to explain what she meant by the tongue thing she turned her head in his direction only to slip her pink tongue out and then back in her mouth. She had seen the reptile-Weres do this particular action on multiple occasions. They were fascinating to watch in the ring. Having a reptile within their ranks would be different, but fun! Heading down towards the garage she walked over towards the row of luxurious cars that Tetradore owned. Seeing the ebony and crimson cars' lights flicker signaled her that this was the one her Alpha wished to take. Slipping into the front passenger seat she easily slid that seatbelt over her and placed the manila envelope into her lap. Quietly she watched her window slide down happy to see he obliged to her small request. Leaning her head out slightly from the window she beamed quite happily as they flew through the city, her long golden-brown curls flying around in complete disarray. The cold winds, from the wintery weather and the speed of the car, didn't necessarily bother her, especially with the heated seats turned on.

Once they made it to the post office she flipped the switch for the window to slide back up. Cautiously she opened her door being mindful that the door wouldn't hit the car beside them. The last thing she wanted to do was catch a scratch or dent on the beloved vehicle. Taking the seatbelt off and grabbing that stuffed large enveloped, she shut the door gently behind her and waited for Tetradore to get out. Heading up the steps towards the post office, after him she tucked some of her curls behind her ear, giving him a small nod of thanks when he opened the post office door for her. The post office wasn't too busy so they were able to get in and out. Leaving the post office she followed him towards the bakery he was interested in taking her. Her thoughts wavering to just how she was going to ask her questions. Entering the warm bakery she was assaulted be an overwhelming aroma of sweet baked goods mixed in with the brewing coffee beans. Heading over towards the short line she looked up scanning the menu at the different items she could order. Eyeing her favorite tea she was having trouble deciding what special treat she could munch on.

"Tetra, do you have a recommendation on what to eat? Anything on that menu I should try or stay away from?"
