East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The brunette had made her way over to the cozy little coffee shop in hopes of having a little time to herself. Serika had quickly busied herself with magic the moment she step foot in Sacrosanct, not that she minded all that much but it was nice to be able to kick back and relax even if for only an hour or so.

Her dark brown curls were hanging down her shoulders bouncing around as she all but skipped into the little coffee shop smirking as the waitress giggled at her. She had come here almost everyday after she got here an knew Maria quiet we'll. "Hot Chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles again today Serika" The waitress asked a playful smile on her face.

This caused the little witch to giggle before slipping into the chair beside the counter "Yes please Maria" The friendly smile never left the brunette's lips as she grabbed the hot chocolate that was now handed to her. "Thank you!" She said before taking a long drink before letting out a sound that could be mistaking for purring.

She slowly lifted her eyes to see the waitress eyeing a blonde man with coffee in his hand, fighting back a smirk she turned to the waitress. "Go talk to him stop staring it's weird" she smirked at the waitress only to watch her blush and glare at the little witch. "Can't you just whip up a spell a make him like me?" The waitress asked hopefully, this caused Serika to chuckle softly shaking her head at her new found friend. "If I could Do that I wouldn't be single now would I" she told the girl and watched as she huffed and left into the back room, slowly Serika turned in her seat and looked at the blonde man sitting at the table. we'll he was attractive she thought as she turned back to her hot chocolate.
