East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

kissing death and loosing my breath
"It won't come back. Not while you're here." Serafina replied, hardly missing a beat, much less bothering to shift her attention towards the female wolf that had settled amongst the debris. "If he does choose to return, then it will be my problem." The female offered the smallest of shrugs, as if it only made sense. Serafina knew she was the only one being threatened by the peculiar man's presence. He was interested only in her and she would do the appropriate amount of research to ensure she was protected when he did see fit to come back for her. There was nothing the wolf could do when the fairy returned and she was not there and Serafina doubted just as much that the female was willing to forgo her own life for Serafina's safety. After all she was away more often then she was here and Serafina had managed to survive just fine thus far. She could hardly call Raven a pet when the girl was rarely there to connect and bond with her. In fact, the only thing that she did seem to have down to an art was the desire to protect the witch, arriving on scene whenever the girl happened to be in some sort of trouble that she questioned her ability to get out of.

Serafina maneuvered with ease amongst the fallen liquids. She knew all too well which ones were dangerous to her and which were not by color alone. Cleaning up this mess was going to be a pain, one Serafina was not particularly looking forward to. "I'm going to have to close the shop while this gets cleaned up." She muttered with a soft sigh more to herself then her companion, her attention turning from the necklace to more immediate problem in front of her. There was a soft snort to her lips at the voice that echoed within her head, causing her eyes to roll ever so slightly. "You find me one woman who wouldn't wear a sapphire necklace they found upon the street besides you." She grumbled with a clear since of agitation. Serafina knew all too well that her behavior was hardly peculiar, just as she had known that the necklace was hardly magical by any means. She had seen no reason not to wear it at the time and even now still saw no fault behind her decision.

"Perhaps." She commented simply with a small shrug. "There is nothing unique about it though. Unless it has sentimental means for him. Although I would have returned it had he simply asked." Serafina replied as she set her fallen book back upon the countertop. "I have work to do now. You can leave if you'd like. He won't attempt to return for a while yet." Serafina added, giving the wolf a way out then the need to spend extended time with her. "Surely you have something better to do." Serafina hardly bothered to look at Raven as she rolled up her sleeves, stepping towards the door to flip the sign to 'closed' before stepping around the mess and the wolf towards the back of her shop, preparing to blend her own potion to render those upon the floor harmless.
