East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

A day with Tobias was utterly draining in itself under normal circumstances but with the added task of trying to teach him something, being out in public with him, and being hormonal it was downright exhausting. All that being said it seemed to turn out to be a successful day, it appeared that some of what she had said to him had sunk in and got some money from him. Tobias didn't understand the use of money and had been supplying Nadya off and on with it simply because she talked about it. Now with a bit of a stipend from her brother and what she had gotten from Tobias it was time she got on her own feet and free from her dependence on them. She was going to be a mother after all should have a way to provide for her cubs.

Last week she had had the thought of wanting her own business on her mind while she wandered the city and came upon an old brick building that had once been the site for plays and other theater productions. A brilliant idea overcame her that had Nadya grinning and talking to the realtor later that day. A lease and rent was all that was needed and from what she had been stashing from Tobias and Tetra it was enough to make the first two months. She had put out an ad to look for employees a few days ago and hoped that she'd get any responses from it. Today was her first real day in the building to begin putting together her business. She had received her first official delivery and was currently attempting to put everything in its place.

Nadya took a few glasses from the stack of boxes next to her and placed them on the bar top with an array of others. She paused in her work and perched on a barstool with a soft sigh, gently running her hand over her gently swollen stomach through the material of her dress. "You two are making this really hard with all that moving around." She murmured before letting her gaze sweep over her newly acquired building. The stage was a decent enough size with an empty area in front where the round dining tables could be placed. A stairwell off to the side led up to the second story which was empty at the moment but would be the dressing area for the dancers. Yes, with a little polish and lights she was going to make this place into the burlesque to go to. With a sigh Nadya looked back to the stack of crates. First she needed employees and perhaps a guy to lift all the heavy stuff which she technically wasn't supposed to be doing.
