East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

I decide to stop by the pub to make sure everything's running smoothly. It's not like I have anywhere else to be. I sneak up to my office while the crowd's small, trying to get some paperwork done. Of course, that takes all of twenty minutes when your mind works much faster than an ordinary human's. Of course that could be because I'm no human. I could let paperwork pile up for weeks and yet still get all my orders in on time because I'm just that good. I'm glorifying in my luck as I hear something going on downstairs and then I sigh and head back to the door, peeking out. It sounds busier so I guess I should stick mt head down there and see what's going on. Better not be anohter hungry vampire trying to get a quick fix. I threw the last one out and banned him for a hundred years. Figured that should be long enough for him to get his act together. He was new, after all.

I don't expect to find a large leopard lounging on my bar though. I narrow my eyes at the bartender content to pet him, her eyes averting the moment she sees. The leopard seems distracted though, getting up to move to the table where a young female vampire sits. Well, I say young but for all I know she could be double my age. I raise a brow as the cat strolls over, pausing in my tour to kick him the hell out just out of curiosity to see her reaction. He sits at her table like it's only natural and I tilt my head, only knowing now how I know the cat. Tobias, the leopard who likes to hang out with that big wolf, Raven. I haven't seen him a while but why ever would he show up here? I guess I'll have to find out sooner rather than later.

He leans over, sipping from the girl's drink and I sigh, leaning to the bar to retrieve another drink for her from the bar, shaking my head at the cat as he then shifts back to a nude human in the middle of my pub. Now both brows furrow as I grab a jacket and pants from behind the bar, glad I've been stowing extra wardrobe for my staff since some like to show up not in dress code. Tossing them over my shoulder, I roll my eyes in slight frustration as the boy then questions her about her drink and she answers back with a question. At least she doesn't seem to blame it on the pub. Now it's my turn.

I walk up and put the jacket and pants on the table in front of the leopard, eying him almost scoldingly as I slide the drink gently to the girl, flashing her a small smirk.

"My apologies for the...cat germs. Anything you want tonight, on the house."

I then turn to the cat again.

"Tobias...put some clothes on please. I'll get you something from the kitchen if you behave, maybe omething fishy? Or do you like steak?"

I know he tends to be food motivated so I'm hoping to settle this peacefully.
