East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

isolt griffin
She is astute in all things and in every moment that slips as sand through her tightly-clasped digits. She is perceptive to even the minutest detail of the world that cycles as the shedding of some proverbial reptilian skin around her, even the timely patter of the drizzle as it taps against the pub's roof does not escape her tuned attentions. Due to the cache of adroitly honed skills to which the young vampire lay claim, Isolt was also privvy to the details of every whisper, to the path of every wandering eye... every sense of every individual did she know as intimately as if they were her own. And in some obscure and miraculous way, they were. She could scry their senses with an effortlessness that was magnificent in its paradoxically complex simplicity; she was, indeed, the silent observer.

And it is this method of silent prying that has her discover evidence of the Hunter's impending visit, the whisper to Damon's ears a thing readily seized upon, his redheaded companion quickly making use of her comrade's eyesight in a way that, for her studious practice, has been rendered absolutely undetectable. The flame-crowned woman is given to pause within the cradle of darkness that currently swathes her in one of Red's more secluded passageways, the image of the blonde headed man stretched in absolute clarity against the metaphorical screen of her mind's eye. Though she has only come upon this particular individual on two separate occasions, each encounter had proven sufficiently monolithic in its own right for her to stay any immediate betrayal of her presence. Without hesitation does Isolt shift herself from Damon's eyesight to pilfer that of the Hunter himself, the dense cords of muscle beneath the shroud of her flesh constricting as he gazes about in a manner she suspects is far less than innocent before they fall upon Damon.

Isolt's own crystalline eyes appear beyond the hoods of her lids, her lithe frame sliding to a halt just beyond a corner that would take her to the bar should she wish it so, her skill no longer required for she may hear their exchange in perfect clarity with her own senses. And, much to her chagrin, it is the words of her most trusted companion that have her innards coiling into an unpleasant pressed knot, the suppleness of her brow furrowing deeply in her quest to comprehend why he would invite the Hunter to penetrate their establishment so willingly... especially in the aftermath of the searing tension the two had born for one another during the unfortunately boisterous rendezvous at The Witchery. Red on the Water was theirs, its sanctity and the protection of those within its walls were theirs to ensure, a responsibility that Isolt was none too keen to see disregarded in its entirety by her partner. And so, extracting herself from the pleasant coolness of the shadow and appearing behind the gentle slope of the bar, Isolt emerges with the characteristically innocent hint of a simper upon the pallor of her features. The azure of her eyes travels a smooth trajectory from one gentleman to the other as she positions herself before the flaxen-haired Hunter. "I'm afraid tours are reserved for the Fire Marshall and Health Inspector. You are, however, welcome to anything from the kitchen... if you like."
