East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha's gaze remained on the woman as she stepped back to fix one of the dancer's straps. The woman's casual use of the word 'brother' was enough to shift Sam's attention to the feline beside her. So the two were related, and if that was true, it was likely that the woman was also a Were, though Sam felt unsure if that would be appropriate enough to ask. She found herself frowning at the woman's accusation, and she shook her head. "I don't make a habit of doing anything," She said, crossing her arms over her chest. It was a childish gesture, and were the girl not so frustrated about being kept in the dark about why she was here.

It wasn't until the feline beside her circled the dancer and then Samantha that she fully understood what the were wanted her to see. She gazed up at the dancer and the pointed ears that matched her own. Faeries. She took a step backwards quickly, and if it weren't for the large panther she was sure she would have fallen as she stumbled into him. "Why did you bring me here?" She said quietly to the cat - man? - beside her. She was sure the nervousness that she felt was quite evident in her voice. It wasn't as though she usually made a habit of hanging out with her own race. After all, it wasn't as though she'd wanted to become what she was, and she spent too much time trying to forget it. "It would be rather great if you could actually use your words to explain yourself, you know."
