East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

He knows the scent of his own species even amongst the gathered bodies here, far more than one patron holding a distinctly feral note to their odour in a way only a Were truly can and yet for much of the evening the snowy-haired man had failed to be too truly impressed by much of what he saw. This sort of...activity was not truly to his taste, far too much exposed flesh seeming to result in a distinct lack of control from far to many of the patrons, Were, Human or other alike and indeed the stallion finds only discord in this rambunctious display of pornographic based dancing. He offers little more then an irritable snort by way of response to an overly flirtatious dancer, his rejection of her seeming to imply that he might well prefer a man. The young, dark haired Were that proceeded to attempt to gain his attention met with a glare so entirely sharp that it seemed to slice his confidence neatly in two and send him scurrying away to entertain someone else. Other Were's, after all, seem entirely capable of perceiving an Alpha when they meet one and in this at least, Frost is given to feel somewhat fortunate if only in that it allows him to keep undesirables away.

The establishment however, was not entirely disappointing, some of the women at least- were not utterly hopeless at their task, his attention flicking from one to the other on occasion, the alcohol provided suitably decent and yet his attention sought one particular feline- one evidently absent tonight and as such affording him no true reason to be here any longer then was demanded of him. The hour grew later as it was, Claire would notice his absence soon enough and truly he had no desire to attempt to locate his wayward pack mate- her efforts to locate him generally resulting in her becoming disoriented and lost until he found her. His empty glass is slid easily back along the bar, the man holding no interest in another- his earlier efforts having managed to drown out the thrum within his mind that never seemed to cease. At least- the voices had grown duller, less forceful and oppressive, allowing his own thoughts to be heard once more. At first he had hoped it was merely a passing thing, a joke someone played, an injury he had forgotten he had sustained and yet the voices persisted still, the man finding relief only in the embrace of sleep or total separation from society. Perhaps this truly was how madness begun, an irritation of voices that never truly seemed to make sense- the equine so unaware of his power in this, having written of this skill as a concerning fault in his mental capacities.

He shifts slightly, avoiding an overly excitable girl and her herd of friends to stumble away from the bar, leaving him beside a woman he had failed to notice until now, her form leaning back against the bar in the same manner as his own. The darkness to her features contrasted entirely against the light of his own in a manner he momentarily found amusing, much of his violet gaze concealed beneath those thick locks of snowy white as he briefly observers her, tasting her scent on the air before allowing a frown of sorts to mar his youthful features. A...snake? She was Were, of that he was sure and yet of what species remained entirely to be seen, momentary curiosity seeming to grasp him before the ever callous equine seems to decide to pluck at the strings of her own evident curiosity. Why not test her a little, just to see if she alone might truly be worth his time.

"If you waiting for something exciting to happen, I believe this is it."

The words are cool as always, a smoothly offered tone tainted with some measure of sarcasm Nadya herself may well have appreciated. He allows his gaze (or what can be seen of it) to meet her own, if only briefly, attention returned to the dance floor before them.

"You seem almost uninspired- and the dancers are trying so hard too. Particularly that fellow over there, he seems almost desperate for your attention. Maybe you should smile at him. He might faint and that is one less to have to watch."
