East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha Cassidy

Samantha couldn't keep her eyes off the feline as he - for lack of a better word - played with the tea that she'd given him. She couldn't help the smile that curled on her lips as his emotions flitted around from genuine curiosity to dislike to complete disinterest in the brown liquid in the bowl. "You don't have to drink it," Samantha said politely as she sipped the tea in her own mug. It could use more honey, she'd decided, though she made no particular movements towards acquiring the sweet substance. Since becoming fae, she'd found a particular interest in anything sweet, and it had led to her certain level of willingness to do anything to fuel her sweet tooth. It appeared, however, that the feline in front of her either did not feel the same towards the sweet liquid she'd given him. "I can get you something else, if you'd like. I really only have water... or milk, I think. Though I wouldn't rely on the milk to still be good. I can't quite remember when I bought it."

Samantha got up after a moment, picking up the bowl of liquid from in front of the man. She went to her sink, rinsing out the bowl before she filled it up with some cold water and replaced it in front of him. "You should drink something," She said simply. "You lost a lot of blood, so you need to make sure you stay hydrated... or whatever. I don't know how fast your kind heals, but I suppose that water is still important, no?" She leaned against the counter as she sipped the last bit of her own tea out of her mug. "My arm hurts like hell," Samantha sighed, reaching up to cover her mouth as she let out a yawn. "I hope you don't mind if I go lay down. You're welcome to stay if you'd like and get some sleep. I'll cook breakfast in the morning. I can make some pretty mean pancakes." She dropped her mug into the sink before she stepped over to the feline. She knelt down, looking the feline in his eyes. "Thank you for saving my life. I really hope you stay."

She rose to her feet, going over to the futon bed that she called her own. She kicked off her shoes, tossing them under the bed before she reached to unbutton her jeans. She kicked them off before she climbed into her bed, tugging the blankets up over her as she glanced over at the feline. "There's plenty of room on here too if you want to curl up. I bet it would be more comfortable than the floor, at least." She didn't offer him more than that before she turned in the bed, letting her back be to the feline. Her arm stung as she laid down, and it didn't take too long before her breathing slowed and she let the fatigue lull her to sleep.
