East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It is within the early hours of the morning that the young man finds himself upon the eastern side of town, hands tucked into the pockets of his jeans as boots scuff at the pavement and that shock of white hair very near glows against the faint light of the street lamp above. He has questioned his purpose for being here tonight, lingering across the street from The Cat's Meow until the last patron had seen fit to leave it and the glowing sign outside had been switched off. He had been...preoccupied of late perhaps, far more then one issue having taken up his time and yet in those few hours in which he is left alone with his thoughts he finds himself inclined, over and over, to consider the slender, dark haired woman whom had so indulged him some time ago in the waters of the hot tub outside her apartment. He remembered her kiss and yet more so- he remembered the girl fleeing mere moments later, her less then friendly attitude several days after...confusing perhaps and yet he hardly considered the delicate emotional state of women as anything to dwell upon. Women were curious creatures, as a whole and yet more often than not he still found himself......desiring something from this particular woman. He enjoys her company, her presence and even if she continues to deny his request that she join him more permanently he remains determined, in the least, to become something of a fixture in her existence.

He moves to stride smoothly across the road now, violet gaze concealed beneath lashings of thick, snowy locks as one shoulder is thrown against the door of Nadya's burlesque. He had found her establishment unusual on his last visit, the atmosphere compelling enough and yet his attention had failed to be caught by any of the women whom paraded upon the stage. He could appreciate their technique, he supposed, the man not immune to the sight of attractive women dressed in such lavish costumes and yet perhaps he is simply not as most men in that regard either- his interests failing to be sparked beyond basic curiosity. His tastes, when it comes to females after all, have always been decidedly- specific. The club is still dark within, music still playing, the lithe, toned young man pausing near the bar and behind a the rows of tables and chairs set towards the stage as his own gaze falls upon the singular, dancing figure that twirls upon it. The fabric of Nadya's outfit seems to highlight each curve of her form as she practices her routine, a rather- sultry affair that sees the young man lean back against the bar in appreciation of the display before him, Frost finding he held no desire to shift from this position or the view it offered him. It was astounding, truly, that she had managed to bare not one, but two children and seemed to maintain her figure in such a manner.

The music is well chosen, the woman's movements replicating that rise and fall of the sound as Frost simply continues to watch Nadya's practice, his own form obscured within the darkness until the song finally finds it's end and a simper of sorts dares to touch his lips for barely a moment- hands clapping slowly together- giving away his presence now.

"If your other dancers moved like that, Naja, I might have stayed here longer the last time."
He weaves easily through the tables now, a soft chuckle slipping from his lips as he pauses beside the nearest front table, one leg folding over the other as he leans back against it- the woman right before him now as his head inclines upward towards her- offering those same cool, baritone vocals as the barest hint of his violet gaze finds her own.

"Do I get to see another dance then? I did walk all the way to the front after all."

He chuckles again, smoothly, teasing at her lightly now as one eye lifts expectantly, anticipating some teasing barb from the woman else perhaps the same irritation she had offered him the last time. He had always found her intelligence intriguing, her way with words amusing, the girl providing something of a challenge for him that he had come to appreciate all the same as he waits. There was far more than one issue he sought to address tonight and yet for now at East he is entirely content to continue to admire the view with quiet ease.
