East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

That Alexis was more...inhibited by her drink then the man had anticipated had become decidedly clear in the moments that followed. He could smell the alcohol on her, her words too seeming to hold a decidedly different note to them, her drink evidently having afforded her a boldness and lack of guard over her speech- this discovery amusing him to an extent and yet by the same notion he found her lack of sense decidedly irritating all the same. It was at least fortunate, he supposed, that her current state of intoxication would assure that any attempts by their Hunter companion to pry within the confines of her mind would be met with little more than the blur of alcohol and whatever inhibited thoughts stirred within her silly little head. Her question in regards to his attempts at a costume is met with little more than the raise of any eye and the subtly murmured words he offers.

"Jack Frost, the personification of winter and all it entails."

Without the trademark staff, he supposed, his 'costume' was little more then a blue hooded jacket and some decidedly unusual brown pants that existed far outside the realms of his normally more expensive attire. The manner in which the young woman so sharply drew back her hand however, was decidedly ignored, alone with the slurred speech she offered by way of explanation, Frost assured the temperature of his skin was sufficient enough and as such saw no need to adjust it for her pleasure. There truly was little that was endearing about a drunk woman and yet for now he supposed her inhibition worked only to his advantage- even if it did make her decidedly more obstinate...and flirtatious then he had anticipated. How easy it would be to take advantage of such a creature, perhaps it is no wonder so many young women fall prey to less than honourable men when they allow themselves to be so afflicted. Perhaps it is equally fortunate his own desires are not nearly so inclined to drift down such a path tonight. Besides- he remains almost intensely aware of Alexander's presence, his relationship with the Hunter a decidedly difficult thing- both men seeming near constantly engaged in a state of carefully concealed warfare over the other and as such the equine remains...wary, in the least, of his companion. It would be imprudent of him to offside the Hunter to much and as such his dealings with Alexis in any fashion, were she truly of interest to Alexander- would need to be decidedly cautious. The girls sudden squirming at his touch on her hip is met with little more than a roll of his eyes though indeed he is half inclined to wonder if any man had truly ever touched her in any intimate way. Stud? Hmm, that was new, though not decidedly incorrect- his lip quirking slightly in amusement at the notion though he offers little more. His human form, after all, is decidedly more....difficult then his equine skin.

"Then we are agreed to keep certain things to ourselves, it would seem. Be a good girl now and walk straight- if you can."

If she wishes to challenge him then he sees no need not to challenge her in return with a far more suitable task, a soft chuckle humming within his throat as he moves to return her to Alexander, hardly missing the manner in which the other man truly seemed to assess the woman- as if he had actually anticipated some form of damage upon her. Hmm, perhaps the Hunter truly did care for this little Vixen- more so then Frost had anticipated. How...amusing that could be, though for now the equine offers little more than indifference to the situation as Alexander snorts in response to his choice of words and Alexis continues to display her intoxication.

"I assure you, Alexis, that Alexander is not my type in that regard."

What little of his violet gaze can be seen returns briefly to his companion now as the Hunter confirms his own relationship with the vixen. A barista? One eye manages to lift itself ever so slightly beneath that thick, snowy fringe, an evident moment of surprise fliting across his features before it conceals itself once more.

"I- "

His words are rapidly ended once more by the girls own interjection that she was not required to wear a maid's outfit as she lent only further into the Hunter, some part of the stallion bristling ever so slightly at this gesture and yet it is surely instinct alone that causes such a response- the man refusing to consider any other possibility. His animal instincts are restrained, for the most part, Frost decidedly proud of the manner in which he manages to conceal so much of his equine self and yet as any stallion surely is some part of himself is inclined to.....possess the women around him. An inclination he decidedly ignores.

"I am sure that dressing you is not Alexander's intention."

The sentence is decidedly pleasant and yet the faintest quirk of the man's lips perhaps displays some momentary tendril of...amusement in regards to the words, even despite the decidedly dry manner in which they are delivered. Alexis' request for yet another drink sees the stallion offer a shrug of sorts, reaching behind him to snatch a cocktail of some description from a passing waiter, handing it smoothly to the vixen now. The more intoxicated she was, after all, the less inclined she surely was to remember any of the events he desires her to forget. That she was working for Alexander however, was information to be further considered later on.

You probably shouldn't let her have any more then that- unless you desire to spend the better part of your night holding her hair back while she throws up in a public bathroom somewhere.

These words are delivered to Alexander alone, thrown directly into the other mans mind, Frost having already discovered that of every mind within the room- Alexanders was by far the more accessible ever since their evening within the riding arena, a connection he still finds.....unusual and yet one he is assured works both ways, a source of decided displeasure as he moves to focus his own attention deliberately away from the Hunter now, gaze returning to watching Alexis consume her drink or attempt to dance- whatever she may be doing as those cool, frosted lyrics emit once more.

"Do you fancy boats, Alexander? Or you, for that matter Alexis, how do you feel about boats?"

It is a decidedly unusual question and yet there is decidedly little the cunning equine asks without reason.
