East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

With being on her own lately Nadya had done a rather good job with considering the fact that her captured companions were less than Weres and as such held no authority over her. Her brother's word being one she no longer held weight to, especially at this moment when she was too flooded with anger at Tobias for trying to push her around. Tobias' deranged shouts caused Nadya's ears to pin against her skull, knowing full well he could simply stand in the five foot spot he was in and be just fine. However, he seemed fit to flail around like a lunatic, as if he were melting or drowning, his shouts turning to yowls as the leopard enough burst forth, the confining leather shredded...this giving Nadya a bit of satisfaction seeing the fabric tear apart. She had no want to stick around him, already paddling towards the stairs that would lead her out of the pool when Tobias made a hasty exit after her, his claws slashing out, opening slices in their wake causing blood to spill and swirl about the churning water.

Nadya snarled in the sharp pain, snapping her attention at him like a fly that turned out to be a wasp and decided to sting you, something you should have killed long ago. Perhaps the only thing that truly saved Nadya from not drowning as Tobias used his weight to climb atop her, dipping her below the surface, was the fact that she had dove under water before, knowing not to breathe as she would dive for a fish. He used her as leverage to leap from the water, frantic to be rid of the liquid from his body, spitting his disdain at her in a fashion that sounded more like a large cobra. Nadya pulled herself from the water, not caring as it streamed from her coat as she walked towards him, body vibrating as growling snarls ripped through her in retort. Each paw fell deliberately, bringing her closer to Tobias, her coat would be bristling had it not been soaked, muscles tense and rolling beneath as she quickly stalked powerfully to her intended prey.

They would be in a continuous battle of revenge, one blow sought to punish for the last, blood for blood. She wouldn't back down until Tobias no longer saw her as beneath him, less than equals and cease his infernal attempts to push her around. Whatever it would take to make it hurt less when him and her brother would never return to her. "And you...are a freak...a broken...psycho!" Nadya lunged in that moment, using Tobias' frantic nature about ridding himself of the water to attack, jaws parted to come down on his upper side near his back flank, curve canines to piercing with a jaw strength capable of crushing skulls though in that moment restrained from such to simply gouge...to maim and not kill.
