I have a feeling pretty quickly on that Raven is doing this for me. Just the way she looks a the store and the more glamorous clothing racks tells her true feelings on what we're doing here and I hate to think that I'm only making her miserable. Meanwhile, I can't keep my eyes off of everything. There's something really pretty here or something I never thought I'd see someone wearing over here and wow, look at that dress! My eyes never stick to one spot too long and I know I'm pretty much dragging Raven along for the ride but she graces me with a smile every time I look at her and I try to take reassurance from that.

I keep picking out clothes for Raven to look at, holding them up like I'm modeling. I'm trying to cheer Raven up but it looks like that won't be happening today. She either smiles and nods in approval or scowls and shakes her head. There's really no in between. I even try picking out a few for her and holding them up in front of her in a questioning way but I don't think Raven likes it when someone else picks out her clothes. Finally I give up on that idea. I take note of the clothes Raven does pick up, usually something dark colored or semi dark, usually no patterns, pretty much as plain as the clothes we have on now. I look down at what I'm wearing. A black tshirt and faded jeans. I like them. They're comfortable but it's easy enough to see that we stick out in a store like this.

As Raven starts watching something rather intensely, I follow her gaze and freeze. I can smell the difference now and even though I don't know if he's a hunter or witch or what, I know that he's not human and judging by Raven's reaction, he's not good. I shrink toward her, ready to run at her word. That's about when the guy goes past and I move even closer to Raven, taking reassurance from her presence. She seems to sense that something's bothering me and after looking at the guy in question, she nudges my shoulder and it helps to comfort my fears. I know that she'll always do whatever she can to protect me. That's when a familiar scent teases my nose.

I whip my head around as Raven does, taking in the feminine form of Nadya as she approaches. I smile and wave, happy to see the girl that bought me the good smelling coffee and the delicious pastry. Raven seems to know her too but I can't judge enough by her features if she likes her or not. Nadya has always been nothing but kind to me. I look over her attire, the corset top only seeming to confuse me. How do you get that on and off with all those contraptions? Can she even breathe in there? I give her a questioning look but my gaze moves to Raven as she points out that I needed new clothes. I smile again and nod.

"I just don't know where to start. Everything's so colorful and pretty."

When I suddenly get pushed from behind, I tense up immediately, turning my head to Raven for encouragement only to see she's the one who pushed me. I scowl in puzzlement, noting the look she's giving Nadya. Does she want me to hang out with her today instead of Raven? I thought we were having fun. Okay, so maybe I was having most of the fun but doesn't Raven like hanging out with me? I don't know what to think. She talks to Nadya now, mentioning something about a tab if she shows me. Shows me what? Where to start? I look between the two of them, apparently very lost in this conversation.
