North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

I can tell just from the looks of things in this place that it's not meant for the girls that are gyrating on the floor and the men who drool overthem like dogs. The walls stink of high class, the bartender too stuck up for his own goo and he's far too old and fragile to get away with his attitude for long. I can smell his hatred from here for our kind and other supernatural beings. I glance his way but he's no threat to me so I look elsewhere. It would seem the lovely hoestess cannot take her eyes off of him however. I can tell by the look she gives the dancers that she doesn't want them here. The feral look in her eyes gets me intrigued. I'd like to see what she'll do about it.

I know she can hear me. When she turns her gaze to mine, I make out the brilliant green of her hazel eyes. She studies me for a moment as I would expect. I'm sure she will know by now that I'm also a creature of the night. The disgust is obvious in her voice as she asks if the dancers behind us would be a better prize. My nose wrinkles as I glance toward them. Sure, some of the women are fresh looking enough but they're nothing more than play things to me, something to snack on and keep myself entertained through the night. There is little respect for humans in my epitoire. I can see she's getting to the end of her rope with the dancers.

"Oh come now, I know you've got better standards than that."

I smirk, humor glittering in my bright blue eyes. At her question, I tilt my head, as if considering before I reply.

"I won't say I wouldn't mind one."

I watch as she waves the bartender over with a flick of her slender wrist. My brow raises at the drinks she calls out. The bartender goes right to work, obviously knowing the face of the woman who writes his checks. You can tell she takes pride in everything about her bar, the way she watches him prepare the drinks with fervor. The bartender slides them over, not once raising his gaze to meet mine before he slides away quickly. I watch him go with interest. I can tell the woman beside me is not pleased with this. Finally she does smile though and I return the gesture as I raise my glass in thanks. I listen to her comment about the drinks before taking a sip, savoring the taste.

"I like my drinks with an exotic look and a foreign accent. Cheers."

I watch her fingers cirle the glass before her before she reaches down and drinks hers. Only after she drinks her do I do the same, downing mine. I do have some manners after all. Women drink first. The warm sensation doesn't last long enought o satisfy me but that's why I spend a lot of time in places like this. It's not like I have to worry about getting drunk. I glance back over at her, curious.

"How long have you been in Sacrosanct? The name's Damon, by the way."

I extend my hand, sure that a woman who owns her own business is a fan of shaking hands with others like an equal.
