Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

It was altogether a rarity when that hunger so got the best of him. The vampire strove with such due diligence to ensure he never took more than necessary, never enough to cause his victims any sort of ill will in the slightest, and, most certainly, never on any soul who did not, in part, yearn for the vampire's touch. Still, that lack of fresh blood in the past few days and the use of his affinity had worn on the man and that scent of blood that so filled that small hotel room was altogether intoxicating, enough so that Sebastian found himself leaning down, his lips parting as those sharpened canines so hungrily bit into the fallen man's flesh. He felt the fellow's body nearly instantly relax beneath him, that taste of sex still running through his veins. He was hardly as delectable as that fae that Sebastian had taken such a liking to of late but, there was no denying that blood had a certain richness and warmth then that microwaved shit he'd swallowed the night before. It so paled in comparison to that freshness that ran through the veins. The Englishman altogether ignored the sound of that shriek behind him, even if, in the back of his mind, he knew it was entirely likely the young woman had been pounced upon by his maker. It was equally likely she would die and yet, he found himself momentarily unable to care of much beyond that taste that blossomed on his tongue.

He was aware of that ding of the elevator, just as he too was aware of those footsteps and the sensation of the young child at his side. It was those familiar French lyrics that saw the vampire finally release his prey, his tongue running gently across the man's neck in an effort to close the wound he'd created and speed up the recovery. He hadn't meant for this to happen, any of this. He'd been trying to avoid this. Hell, he'd been trying to avoid her and now look at where it had gotten him. Her hand so swiftly grabbed his own, dragging him back into that room that they'd slept in but hours ago. It was hardly difficult to collect their things, with so little being brought with them in the first place. In fact, the only true thing of value Sebastian cared of was his cell phone and that wallet that held both of their credit cards. Anything else that was lost, he was assured, could hardly be traced back to them, much less was so invaluable it could not be re-purchased. Even so, he'd only just fit those two objects within the pockets of that jacket before she was again reaching for his hand, pulling him with that same supernatural strength till even he could hardly protest without a fight.

He'd only just pulled that jacket from the bed as she led him into the hallway of the hotel room and straight out the door into the arms of their welcoming committee. A soft grunt left the Englishman's lips as he eyed the security in front of them and yet, he hardly a chance to react, much less call upon his own affinity before those bodies were sent flying against the wall across from them. She threw them so effortlessly it unnerved him. This was exactly why he'd so avoided his maker, her affinities were a force to be reckoned with and telling her 'no' often left him on the receiving end of her often childish tantrums. Tonight, however, tonight he was thankful she was on his side. After all, he scarcely wanted to meet his death at the end of a stake, not when there was still someone he wished to live for. It was that singular thought that caused the man to remain entirely steadfast of their goal to escape, his hand nestled within hers as they made their way quickly down those stairs and out into the dark, cool air of those foreign lands.

Softly, Sebastian exhaled, his hand dropping from his maker's only to pull that trench coat over his figure, those now bright blue eyes glancing back behind them to ensure they weren't followed. It was the sound of that sing song voice that drew Sebastian's attention back towards her, a small frown upon his features. "We have an errand to run and then we can go get your present. Okay?" He commented, reaching for his phone to so pull up directions from their current position, wherever they were, to that address Ceara had given him prior to leaving the city. "Hm...this way." He led the girl off the sidewalk, crossing the street to the other side as he led her through the veritable labyrinth of...that city they were in (I forgot where they are). Sebastian's gaze lingered upon the child the closer they got to those ruins, watching her acutely for any sign that Anna-Marie knew where she was or, worst still, refused to revisit that site that had once meant so much to her.
