South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was perhaps silly to even consider trying to get the young woman in front of her to reconsider the notion that Frost was actually good. Edie knew, deep down, that Frost was not necessarily the nicest person in Sacrosanct, and yet there would be absolutely no changing the young woman's mind when it came to her Alpha. Her loyalty was unwavering. It was that alone that had her offering up the exact instance in which Frost had put Edie first. There had been other times, though there was no need for Alexis to know everything about the lives they led within the pack. The fennec fox was well aware that Alexis was not entirely convinced, and yet Edie was content to let the subject drop with a wag of her tail. "Perhaps it's just me," She said finally. "Perhaps he has a soft spot for my beauty."

It was a tease, of course, the first of the nature that she had given to the other fox. And yet it felt entirely natural to offer the gesture of kindness to the other animal.

"It was," Edie said simply, her voice showing no signs of pity for herself. She had grown long past attempting to feel sorry for herself for the events of her teenage years. She was stronger now, if only they were able to see that. She had left home with no remorse and had found a place in a pack here in Sacrosanct. And not just any place, she was the Beta. She was trusted and useful in ways that Beck argued that she would never be. To Beck, she was merely the pretty face - the pretty toy - to be played with and used. She would never, ever be that woman ever again.

"I could help you find that," She offered. Of course, she meant that the place she would help her find would be within Frost's pack. She had no intention of turning this woman over to the Nightshade pack, nor humoring any notions that that would be a pack that would be suitable for her. "You're clever, I can tell. Fortunately for me, I only consider people to be friends if they are." Again, she was teasing, and she could feel herself letting her guards down when it came to the woman. A friend. She could always use more friends, she supposed. She considered Frost a friend, and Kato was her boyfriend, but other than that she wasn't particularly close with anyone. What would it even be like to trust someone so openly like that?

She could see the idea of getting attention from boys made the other fox squirm, and that alone was enough for the mischievous girl to latch on to. "I would love to go to a club with you," She replied earnestly. They would go right now. She would teach the young woman how to have the attention of all the men around her finger, and more importantly, how to handle alcohol so that she could actually have a good time.

"Let's go right now," She said, bouncing to her feet and running in quick circles, a rare sign that she was utterly thrilled by the notion. "We'll need clothes. Cute outfits. I have some at home, but it's at the pack house, and judging by how you feel about Frost, I'm assuming you won't want to come home with me?" She tilted her head as she regarded the other woman. "So what would you like to do for clothing, then? I assure you, we can't go like this. And while I love being naked around men, I don't think the clubs will let us in."
