South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya was a relatively observant creature which came from the predator side of her species. She could see the darkness within the wolf's gaze, the truth behind the façade that she presented. Nadya was also not one to press for details that a relative stranger didn't offer up themselves. It didn't mean Nadya wasn't curious, no, she was just respectful of that line in the sand. It was a good thing that Scarlett wasn't offended by Nadya forgetting her name. Not only had it been so long ago and so brave but she wasn't that great at remembering names in the first place. Some could say that wasn't a good trait to have in the business world but honestly all she had to do was remember the regulars, those were the ones that paid the bills along with those bachelor gatherings.

The panther gave a small nod at Scarlett's confession. "Pack life isn't for everyone. I traveled on my own too before I found my brother and had my kids." Even Nadya had debated leaving on occasion since then, going back to her nomad life, but now she had her children to think of who needed stability and family and her brother was here who had been the entire reason she had broken away from her adoptive pack in the first place. She would never be able to bring herself to leave the city for as long as he was here. "You'll know when you're ready and you'll find the right pack for you." Golden eyes surveyed the way in which the wolf shifted as if she weren't entirely sure of herself. It reminded her of some other Weres she considered friends, those who needed that extra touch of care to know that not everyone in the world is against them.

Nadya glanced from Scarlett to the goat and back again. "Are you hungry? I don't think my pack would know how to cook goat honestly. I hear it's a tricky meat to get right." She didn't want the girl to think that it was simple charity. The olive branch though was extended once more if only Scarlett wanted to take it. The cooling of the air about them as a few drops of precipitation escaped through the treetops to land on Nadya pulled her gaze upwards. There had been sun, albeit not a very warm one, but the soft rays that came with Fall and now clouds had rolled in. "Is that you? I haven't met anyone with weather manipulation before. Is there a reason why you are blocking the sun?" Nadya's skin twitched over sleek muscles with each little drop that fell on her. She may have been a feline but she was also a panther which meant the water didn't bother her...only cold did.
