South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya had waited with bated breath as she always had for the shift to overcome Micah and Izzy. This was no regular moon shift which Aidan simply guided but a forced shift. Nadya was more nervous for it, afraid that their body couldn't handle it without the moon's process already there to help but Aidan had done it. Normally she would have cooped up in the Ark with the twins in their human form and ventured out only to the upper deck. Her taking them to Sam had faded due to her seemingly constantly nervous state whenever they were out in public. It worried Nadya, the subtle changes in the fae's behavior, but it was also surely a stressful time for the new queen and could be explained away with that.

Instead of Nadya's normal routine it was decided to try this whole family being together thing that Aidan had spoken of some time ago. It would be much easier to get the deviant to behave and understand the twins with them being in their feline form so that was what had been decided. Nadya had met Aidan and Tobi within the South and shifted before allowing the twins to be forced. As always she was on them in an instant, checking over their small forms with a rumbling purr vibrating her chest. Only Micah remained still long enough for Nadya to be sure they were intact, Izzy always the wiggly one as she mewed and weaved away to the other big cats. Nadya was sure that child would be the death of her; the little one held no fear and was constantly getting into things. Izzy's more placid brother stuck like glue to Nadya, his ears brushing her stomach as he kept beneath her while she strode after Izzy.

Izzy wiggled low with her rump in the air before pouncing on a beetle crossing her path. The second she touched it though it was like she received an electric shock and bounced right back up, flailing every which direction to fall back to the earth in a heap. Her hunting style was anything but elegant. Mews and chirps escaped her as she twisted back up to her feet and proceeded to bat at the bewildered insect with one paw. A chuff of amusement escaped Nadya, golden gaze sliding over to Tobias, "Can you go catch something small for them? A mouse or rabbit...don't kill it, just bring it here." Apparently it was time for the kitten's first lesson in hunting. While she waited for Tobias to follow through with the request she crossed the space to where her brother lingered. The moment Nadya got close her whole body automatically lowered in submission, tail dropping to sweep the floor and head dipping to press her ebony form in the crook beneath his chin as another purr reverberated through her.

"Thank you." Her whispered words brushed against his mind. Nadya hadn't been out with the kittens since Tobias had taken off with them. She had feared it. However, now her brother was here and had proven he would protect the twins, Nadya trusted him with this. It was also good for them to see their family together once more instead of leading the separate lives they had found. Nadya rubbed and nuzzled against Aidan until she parted from him in order to descend on her daughter that was beginning to wander, leaving Micah perched at Aidan's feet picking experimentally at the lush blades of grass with his teeth. Nadya's large paw reached forward, easily topping Izzy to the earth before flopping down beside her, jaws parting to mouth playfully at the fluffy spotted kitten. It had had the potential of such an easy outing but then again when did anything go smoothly. The air about them chilled far more than what was natural until the puffs of her exhales became frosty. Cold, such an unnatural cold front. Nadya stilled in confusion knowing very well that neither Tobias or Aidan possessed such an ability. "Aidan?" Confusion, worry, and fear laced her tone as she glanced up at him from her place across the small clearing, gathering Izzy up by the scruff in order to effectively still the child. It was a bit more awkward the bigger they got but still gave the desired effect for the moment. Her own abilities sprung up just at the edge of her, individual threads that she plucked at in ready to unleash should danger spring or at her brother's order.
