South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Although he was quite a very odd creature he was charming in some way. He was ancient and knowledgeable, but with his growing curiosity and naivety made him an absolute delight to be in his company. He was peculiar and yet she appreciated being in his company. She had never been around royalty before, much less someone that belonged in a different place and time, but she rather enjoyed her time with him. For someone of royalty he was rather humble in a way, not ignorant to believe his way or what he knew to be the only true way. It was refreshing in a way, and she was humbled to be in his presence, even though he had no claim to any sort of royal title here within the city. That he would heed her warning about the Dark Hunters that monitored the city was met with a nod of appreciation, glad to see that he understood the gravity of the situation. As the conversation steered to her moniker she was interested and troubled all in one. She understood the meaning behind her first name, Death and sinister things wrapped around the ebony bird, but mixed with the meaning behind her last name, it made her ponder on if her parents were aware of what she would become? Was it a coincidence?

Now she was deep in thought with wondering just why was it she was capable of being feral? Perhaps as Dorian suggested with his analogy of horses, even the gentlest and tamest, could still bring to the world something unmanageable and wild. Why was it that she had to have it? Was it something that had skipped generations and befallen upon her? Was it a trait that was passed down every generation from her Mother's side, but it was kept hushed? She had no answers to any of these thoughts that bounced within her skull. There was at least one silver lining in all of this. She wouldn't have to worry about her child having the same feralness that she has. As he steered the topic to hunting, her dial tilted slightly, puzzled as to why he would speak of such things. Blue-grey eyes widen in shock as she stared at him taken aback by what he was saying. He had mentioned before he hadn't known much about Werewolves and she assumed that if he did not know much about her kind, then perhaps he didn't know much about Were-creatures...at all. He was lucky to be with her as he said these things, because if he said them to anyone else, she was sure that he would be attacked terribly. Softly she speaks firmly, but gently, wanting him to understand that there are some things he needs to be careful about with what he says, and to who he says it to.

"I understand you do not know much about Weres, but there is one thing you must know about our kind, we despise being treated or viewed as pets. You didn't call me a hound outright, which I appreciate, but asking me to help find you a deer implies that I work for you and do your bidding."

A shy small smile appears on her mauled face, as she pulls another strand of golden-brown curls to be placed behind her ear, hoping to appear friendly after speaking. The werewolf, by no means, wishes to speak out of turn or to tell the King what he can and cannot do. It is not her place at all, but she just wants to make sure that he is at least careful. He may not be so fortune to be with another friendly, reasonable Were. She hopes he is not angered by her for speaking so out of turn, but she hopes he sees that she is at least helping him go in the right direction. She was not offended, his low knowledge of Weres was acceptable, but he was learning and that's what counts, she just hoped she didn't anger him.

"I am not angry with you, but I am helping you see, so that when you come across another Were, you won't make the same mistake. I don't want you to be harmed by a Were just because you said something ignorant, when you truly meant nothing of it."

Her cheeks flare to a bright shade of pink as he corrects her again. Speaking from a foreign language to a new unfamiliar one, must be difficult, and she made a mental vow to try at least harder with him. After all she has to take some time to translate Tobias' words sometimes, she was sure she could do a very good job with the Italian. As he explains his parentage she nods politely, listening, feeling a tinge of sympathy for him. She was not the product of an affair, but she wondered if knowing you made through such a thing had any effect on your self-worth. With a wide grin she responds kindly now understanding exactly what he meant.

"Oh I see now. It is good though he kept you, his reasoning seems logical at least, but that is good you had a roof over your head. I am sorry you never met your Father though. My Father...I mean my family, I wish I knew more about the history. We have this medal that has been in her our family for generations, do you know anything about it?"

A sudden image would gently appear within the fae's mind, the titanium medal that belonged to her family was the vision she wished to share with him. She didn't know much about the importance or the history behind it, but she knew all too well that it was extremely important to her pack and only the Alpha could wear it. By law of the pack, as the only child of Alphas, this was to be her medal, but she did not feel like she deserved it. She gave the medallion to her mate, a token and recognition, of his leadership and dominance above her, just after she trusted him at the beginning of their relationship. Perhaps since he knew so much about the past and he was revealing things about her family he may or may not realize, perhaps he could tell her more about the medal. The medal would remain in his mind, rotating between the front and back, as the she-wolf waited anxiously.
