South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It had only been a few weeks the last time she had first come across the red-head woman. They had met within the park purely by accident. It was the first time she had accidently shifted in front of a human. Really the whole ordeal could have turned far worse than it did. She had assumed the girl would run away in terror shrieking that there was a wolf amongst humankind within the peaceful park. The simple woman could have easily fainted. She could have fallen to the ground and the she-wolf would be caught in a calamity. Shift as a human and watch over the fallen form and attempt to explain to strangers she never attacked the woman. Or even, stay within her ebony and grey fur and watch over the girl hoping no one would come across her fallen form. But of course, they were in a wide open, public place, and really she couldn't just drag the woman from the sidewalk and over to the bushes. Onlookers would take notice and alert the authorities. The curly-haired woman was not one that enjoyed much attention and the last thing she would want were police officers chasing her. The fair-skinned woman could have easily attempted to harm her. So really, it all could have gone bad real fast. Yet she was lucky to have such an inquisitive human, far more interested with her species. The encounter was brief, but it was enough to introduce the girl into the world of the supernatural. Sadly though, it would seem that the woman did not heed her own advice that she had uttered to the curly-haired woman.

Blue-grey eyes narrowed at the frail lethal frame of the newly born vampire. Grey trimmed ears were pointed at attention hearing the girl stutter. Hackles rose when she noticed the woman moving in such a manner, her mouth opening as her sharp fangs were barred. It was natural for her to see the vampire as a threat. Vampires and Werewolves, and other Were-Creatures, were never truly fond with one another. It was instincts that started to step in. With Isolt showing her fangs, the mild and meek woman obeyed how Mother Nature wanted to respond, by flashing her own rows of sharp teeth. Thick ebony fur bristled as she now jumped to her paws, a warning growl rumbling through her chest. Her voice would gently pierce through Isolt's mind as she attempted to explain to the woman that her threatening actions, which were still not reasonable, were causing her to react in such a way she did not wish to act.

"Of course you are scared, I would be to, but you need to...well...can you please put your fangs back in? It's making me...anxious."

She would stand tall and firm in the muddy grass. She was not pleased at all that this had happened to such an innocent woman. Her scent was musk carried more over with that dead smell all vampires held. As soon as those two fangs went away her entire tense form would start to relax. Lighting cracked the sky once more as the thick cold rain continued to fall. Tentatively she would place one paw in front of the other, watching any sign or notion that Isolt would attack. She hadn't had much experience with vampires, but she know enough to understand that Isolt would need to get indoors to stay alive when the sun came out, to drink, and overall be somewhere safe for herself and safe for others. Managing to get close enough to the girl, only a mere few feet away, she would give a soft whimper looking over her bloody face as her voice once more entered the young girl's mind.

"Isolt...you'll get through this..."

How? She had no fucking clue.
