South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

GO AHEAD AND PLAY DEAD

I'd been eagerly awaiting the coming of night with anxious anticipation. My blood tingled with building adrenaline since dawn, my skin crawling with the urge to take my wolven form and run rampant through the forests. I was already well within the forest by nightfall, my truck parked in a safe place along the outskirts of town where no one would take notice of it.

the dusky hues of twilight saw me stripped and naked, slipping into the forest unabashed and unbidden. With the first sliver of moonlight ghosting through the trees, I felt the carnal Being within me seize possession and I let the Change take me.

And then I am running. Massive paws eating away the terrain, silver brindle armor streaking through the cumbersome shadows as a howl erupts in a feral nocturne to rise out above the trees and crescendo up among the stars. A ravenous hunger ensues, and I am fleet to flush a herd of deer from a copse of trees. The ungulates were caught unawares, and with my gargantuan stride it was easy to keep pace with the herd and pick off a fawn that had not been able to keep up with it's larger counterparts.

With a single panicked bleat I ended it's life and ripped it's throat from it's delicate neck. Limp, the morsel was practically all legs, but it was assuage my hunger for the time being. There was plenty enough hours in the night to feast again and again at my leisure. But this little fellow would make a fine appetizer while the night was young...

A thunderous crash through the forest pulls at my attention, skull snapping to one side as a massive black and silver she-wolf barreled through the bracken and brambles as if running for her life. Auds pricked fro as the familiar scent of Raven clawed at my nares. Indigo eyes hone in on the introverted female, her speed so swift she is nearly a blur. I wait several moments in her wake, dial taking keen survey of the path from whence she came, looking for any pursuers that would instigate such a hapless getaway.

Hearing no sign of attackers, I took off after her in a lope, the fawn still clutched tightly in my jaws. Raven delves deep into the forest, only slowing when she comes upon a small glen with a brook. By the time I arrive, she has already settled near the water's edge, her gaze down-turned towards her reflection, one paw scraping at something upon my muzzle. I set the fawn down nearby and circled around to get a better view of the odd strappings and the contraption that caged her broad snout, surprised that anyone could find a muzzle so large.

{...Looks like you've got yourself into quite the predicament, Miss Raven. Are you injured?} deep baritones resonated towards her mind as my own muzzle dipped to sniff at the harness about her head and neck. Nose crinkles with distaste, the scent of warlocks slithering through my nasal passages and I snort.

{Dickheads, I should hunt them down and peel their skin from their hides!} I snapped my teeth for emphasis, face contorted in a silent snarl as my brindled plume lashed angrily. But it did not look as if the woman has suffered anything more then perhaps a few cuts from thorny bushes in her haste to escape. Circling round to her side, I examined the thick leather that encircled her skull carefully.

{If you'll give me a second I'll cut through this god-awful device and free you...}
I said firmly, leaning in to hook the fangs of my bottom jaw beneath the thick strap to cleave the thick leather in twain.

SOMEDAY I'LL WALK AWAY AND SAY

YOU FUCKIN' DISAPPOINT ME
