South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Ripper

William Jack Holloway

This man was entirely peculiar, and while there was a tiny part of William's mind that said that he should be afraid of the individual that held a gun to him, the Dark Hunter was anything but. Instead, he simply raised his hands in that - no, not quite surrendering - gesture and stated once again that he wasn't following the faerie man in front of him. Hell, didn't they listen? Was there something wrong with this individual? He hadn't once (aside from those dark days in London that he refused to think about) slaughtered a faerie, and truly had no intention of doing so. And yet, he wouldn't be opposed to taking down the crazy man if he continued to threaten him. William was powerful enough to take down this man. After all, was it not his power that had him on the Council's Most Wanted list? And yet, it was that power that William so adamantly refused to use. But if this faerie continued to threaten him... well...

He would do what it took to keep himself alive.

The fae man that so held a gun to his heart felt like little a threat, and yet even despite that, Will found that he didn't want to test how much it would hurt to have a bullet in his chest. It was that alone that had him so... rambling... at the idea of wanting to see his girlfriend. Or not girlfriend. Maybe girlfriend? It was hard, really, to classify what exactly Vhalla was to him. She was more than his friend - you simply didn't make out quite that much with a friend - and yet there had been no formal discussion of what they were to each other. And, not to mention, he was still very much in love with someone else. Still, there was no point in dwelling on that, not with the situation that he'd found himself in. Instead, he was more interested in the paranoia that the other man seemed to dwell in.

But the other man seemed willing to put the gun away at the sheer mention of the woman within William's life. Will's brow furrowed at his insistence that he should just 'make a move', which truly was a foreign concept to the Victorian man. He was used to the intricate art of courting, and even despite that, there were so many things between William and Vhalla that made the whole thing so complicated. Still, he found himself glaring at the faerie. "I'm not new to this," He said with a huff. It wasn't technically true, really. Despite his two hundred year age, he could count on one hand the number of girls he'd ever been interested in, and the relationship that was developing between himself and Vhalla was vastly different from any of the ones he'd held before.

"As for your bloody paranoia, I..." He sighed, reaching up now that the gun was safely tucked away to run a hand through his long locks. "I wasn't following you. At least not intentionally." At the notion of him being fae, William merely chuckled. "I know what you are, faerie." He crossed his arms as he leaned back against that wall. How he could intimidate the man if he wanted, and yet he found he had little want to do so. "You don't know what I am? Your precious faerie aura can't tell?" He couldn't help but be amused. What kind of foolish fae didn't know how to recognize a Hunter? "I'm a Hunter. Perhaps that's why you're so convinced that I'll hurt you. But trust me, I have little desire to end your life."

But darling -- it's only human nature.
