South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

The rabbit was alive. She killed it. Then the rabbit died. Then it came back to life. It is not possible. It simply wasn't possible at all. She killed it. Raven knows she killed it. When she pounced upon the small prey, her teeth had crushed into its side, and when she punctured the neck she felt the creature go limp. The scent of Death was sudden and she knew that the rabbit would never come back...oh how wrong she was...and how very confused she was. It did not make sense, none of it did at all. It was alive and it terrified her. Of course it was nothing more than a harmless rabbit, and yet, it had performed the impossible and came to life. Never before had she seen something like this occur. The wolf knew it needed to die and so while Dorian was standing behind her, she allowed her instincts and fear to propel her forward and eliminate the threat â€" a god damn zombie bunny rabbit. Quickly she chased the bloody animal, sinking her teeth into it, shaking her dial vigorously wanting to ensure that it wouldn't be possible for it to come alive, tearing it in shreds, and once she was complete she dropped it. When the deed was done her grey-trimmed ears twitched when she heard his apology. Softly her nervous voice would slip into his mind as she walked in his direction.

"You may not have had the power before, but you do now."

To bring life to something that is dead seems so very...wrong. It wasn't due to a religious factor, the lupine hardly considered there was some deity in the sky controlling everything. When she was a little girl she believed in the man upstairs, following the commandments, making sure she was well behaved. Yet no matter how often she was good and made sure not to commit a sin, apparently it wasn't enough for God to answer her prayers. How many nights did she lie within her cage, tears staining her cheeks, as she pleaded to the all mighty above to help her? How many times when she was withering in physical pain, asking for Him to take away the pain, hoping perhaps for one night after the beatings she would feel nothing. How often she requested a friend to play with, someone within the pack to vouch for her and say their treatment of her was wrong. All these innocent prayers, ones no child should ever utter, never came answered. No help ever came. No Angel came to free her, to befriend her, to help her. Not even the blessed Pope would be capable of brining any sort of Faith back to the abused woman. Who could blame Raven for thinking as she did? Blue-grey eyes shifted towards the King as he sat upon the log, eyes widening in shock, as she observes flowers appearing where his hand once was. Shocked she exclaimed loudly, as one grey paw lifted, pointing at the log.

"Dorian...f-flowers are growing right where your hand was, on that log."

While the Fae King began to stumble the wolf took a few steps back unsure where she should be. A gasp was heard within his mind, as she watched the grass begin to die where his feet were. As he clutched his head she release a very small whine. Raven was concerned for him, seeing him in visible pain, while seeing his new powers be released. Tentatively she came forward her, her shoulder brushing against his leg, as she spoke softly with an encouraging tone.

"Dorian, it's okay, just...close your eyes, you don't have control over this new ability, and I...I don't know how I can help you. Just stay still, and close your eyes maybe the glowing won't hurt?"
