South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was rare that Tetradore chose to play with anyone beyond his spotted companion and yet, when he did, they were little denying that he was, at the very least, quite crafty in his foolery. That shuffling of those blades of grass hardly perturbed him in any fashion, his instincts already informing the hunter that it was but a distraction from the true pray that he so 'hunted'. He knew exactly where the young woman was and yet, he dared to make even the slightest of movements lest that rustle of grass gave away his own position. Rather, Tetradore fully relied upon his own affinities. This was a play of affinities and yet, one he was entirely assured he was destined to win. A small assured glimpse filled the panther's emerald eyes as he allowed that darkness to overcome him, causing his large form to simply disappear from the depths of those fields. In but seconds he was above her, his shadow quite clear upon the ground beneath them as gravity took charge, sending him propelling downwards and into her. There was but a brief moment in which her head turned upwards to glance at him but it was too late, nature was already running it's course.

Tetradore collided into her frame with a certain sort of solidness and yet, he hardly lingered there long, simply squishing her with his weight before his hind legs pushed off of her. He sent his body back into the depths of those high fields, his body resettling in the depths to wait for her reaction, all too willing to assault her again at the slightest of opportunities. What he didn't anticipate was that she had the audacity to turn her affinity against him. It hardly took him long to notice his paws raising slowly from the ground, a soft huff leaving his lips as she rose him from the ground and into the air. His bright green eyes turned towards the young woman, watching the way she wagged her tail with a hint of happiness to her body. She clearly had thought she had got him, she thought she had won this match and, indeed, she seemed to move his muscular figure up and down as if to taunt him with what she thought was her impending victory. Poor girl had absolutely no idea whom she was dealing with - did she?

For several moments he simply remained there, considering her words with the simple guise that he was oh so defeated. And yet, at the end of the day, it was little more than that. A guise. Her hold on him simply existed because he existed within this space at this point in time. This was hardly some assured victory and he was hardly as powerless as the others in his pack, although he was fairly certain even this wouldn't have stopped Tobias. And he thought she had learned something. His head shook from side to side ever so slightly as he called on that affinity once again, letting those dark shadows take him away from her and out of her grasp. He reappeared but seconds later, simply sitting upon her spine rather than letting gravity put him there. The feline glanced down at her from his position, his voice reached out to her mind. "You're right, you should just admit that I won." He responded, entirely smug with himself. The poor girl thought she had a chance. Little did she know that she could utilize her telepathy all day - in the end, it alone was hardly enough to capture the ever cunning Alpha. It was best to just admit defeat.
