South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Do not go gentle into that good night

Blaise clears the way with her childlike manner, assuaging some of the fears that had become so ingrained in Archer. If she had been anything less than kind he would have skirted past her and left into the city, using the fumes of these toxic cars to cover his trail. Some fae were of keener senses than others but that wouldn't stop a few from using other creatures, like shifters, to help in their cause. He chose to be outside of the fae society, shunning them all, and in this moment Blaise had tested his veracity towards such an endeavor. But she seems genuine and she is in need, the ultimate key to unlocking his stubbornness. It would be a sin to leave a woman unaided in her time of need.

So Archer takes off what is his to give to her to make sure that she is warm despite the way his blood rapidly cools. It's discomfort is almost welcomed as it distracts from the pain that broils within his guts. For a moment his enhanced hearing tricks him - did she just gasp? But as he turns back around with a frown and concern Archer does not spy anything that might alarm her. Maybe it was simply from the cold. She brushes her fingers across him and spiderwebs of goose flesh race up his arm, his blue eyes holding hers even though his heart races just a bit faster. It is hard to ignore the beauty of other fae and she was indeed a beautiful one. Once he had followed a fae woman... at his own peril.

Her embarrassment is met with a very gentle smile although his own interest has been piqued. It has been a century or more since he had found himself a lover and even then such a thing was tenuous, his need for connection the driving force that always disappointed him. Her look turns into wariness, or so Archer thinks, and he smiles consolingly to try and relax the woman. "It is quite alright," he assures her, tucking his hands back into his pockets. "That is what I am here for, anyways, to offer protection where I can." Now he flashes a grin that totally changes his entire pinched face from sweet to handsome. A twinkle in his eye denotes his slight humor although it rapidly fades at her question.

"I was taking a stroll when you found me," he says, for it is not a lie. He was strolling while in search of his prey but that part was an omission. Even Fae found ways to twist things. A sharp strike of pain up his side has him bolting to stand straight from his now slouched position, a hiss of breath enough to alert her. His eyes skitter to the side then back again. "Is there a place we can go to see that your wounds are tended?" His voice has a breathless quality, the kind that entails what kind of pain he is in, but he tries to distract her with his quick question.
