South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Anna was a curious creature so therefore had a difficult time sparing too much of her attention on the vampire stranger. It had never been in her experience to fear her own kind...fear in general wasn't something the child vampire had much experience in anyways. Her icy blue eyes were honed in on that woman strung up by the spider-web like substance with impatience for that abtract time before being able to feed. Even though her attention was very much focused on the victim, Anna never allowed her position to put the stranger at her back. No, she remained very aware of every shift of his form and kept him in her peripheral vision.

It wasn't until he had spoke of sharing that Anna's demeanour took a 180 turn against the man. Anna quite easily huffed as the beginnings of a tantrum brewed beneath the surface. Her fingers clenching and unclenching at her sides as she attempted control to not latch onto his essence and seize his body. "You got in the way. I always catch them." Well, perhaps not always as there had been a few times she had neglected to feed and grown weak so a few had been able to escape her grasp. However, of the hundreds she had taken, the few lives that had managed to get away hardly registered on the vampire's radar.

The agitation caused Anna to cease her care about where the man was as her only concern switched to the hanging woman. Surely it had been enough time. Patience wasn't exactly the girl's strong suit. Anna rounded about her once more, unused to feeding in this position so unsure how to bite. Her narrowed gaze didn't even move from the human when Arlo questioned about having a family. "Family....don't need them. They grow old...die...everyone dies...but not me." Even the vampires she had come in contact with throughout the years, many had come to meet their ultimate death and still Anna remained. "I have two mine's...but they're busy so I'll find them later." What Crishlyn and Sebastian meant to Anna were completely different than what she understood as family. Family was the mother and father who screamed after their child was snatched from their grasp and drained in front of them. Crishlyn and Sebastian were her caretakers of sorts but in Anna's mind they were hers and not the other way around.

That was the only information Anna was willing to divulge or at least that was the end of her attention span on that particular subject. Anna closed the distance between herself and the victim, sinking her small fangs into the curve of her neck...leaving her back completely turned on the man.
