South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

In all actuality the woman was taken aback by his response from her lack of one. She could sense the irritation behind those words, good. It meant she was getting somewhere. She actually didn't mind the bluntness and her eyes spark to life as she peers up at him, her expression level. "I was really only curious about your given name." She admits. "I suppose I have never had someone address me with my last name, it almost seems impersonal, like your hiding who you are. I know people like that, Tetradore." All she wanted was the truth, transparency in a world where there was nothing but smoke and mirrors. Perhaps she was simply frustrated with the lack of truth in her own life. Here, in Sacrosanct would be different, or so she hoped and craved for.

On the other hand, ask someone a vague question and you normally get more information than you ask for. Clearly Tetradore had needed far more persuading. She toys with the mashed potatoes whilst she remained in her own head, swimming about the depths of it trying to piece together fragments that made no sense. She explained what she had wanted from him, if only in partial just to get him speaking. Perhaps, somewhere deep down she was curious about this secretive soul, whom seemed so illusive and esoteric. However, the shift in conversation seemed to make him visibly relax back into his chair and for now that would have to do.

He frowns at her, his lips growing terse and rolling his eyes at her, but her lips take on a little smirk at asking who the world was, smartass. "Oh you doubt in my ability in answering questions do you? I bet I can find some kind of answer for any question you throw at me. I was hoping you would get creative with your answer, but I can be more specific if that's what you want." She pauses in contemplation. "I figure if I asked the world that question I would get a similar response, or no response at all. But I am not wondering about the world, I am only focused upon the information you have to offer, Tetradore." Now if only the world could talk, it would certainly give an earful with such conviction at how unfairly it was being treated.

She had offered him a fair deal, a question for a question. Yet still, somehow the man seemed bored which didn't really bother her. She did get what she wanted. As he began to talk about Frost she nibbled away at those tasty potatoes left on her plate. She was actually surprised at his candidness and appreciated it more than he would have realised. She almost polished off her plate by the time he was finished speaking. He had most certainly been a punching bag to this Frost character. But what also left her curious was that little fact that he had a girlfriend. He didn't seem like someone who wanted to share much about his life, to be open and vulnerable in a relationship. But that just went to show how much she didn't know the man sitting across from her, who had also went the mile to saw to it that she had shelter, clothes and a meal despite how bored he was with her. What a strange man indeed.

Mira knew what it was like to protect what was hers, knew sacrifice to keep those she loved and dear to heart fiercely protected. She felt it in her gut and heart as he spoke, frowning as he tells his tale. "He sounds like a real psychopath and men like that will do whatever is necessary to go where it hurts you most. Him going after your loved one was just another way to make you suffer. The more you care, the more of a target they become." It made her think of her old pack leader and just how far he would go to make one suffer, just to make a point that he was not someone to wrong. From the sound of it, Frost and her old alpha seemed as though they were cut from the same cloth. Even as Tetradore explained Frost, he manages to understand some of his actions. A lesser man would have been flooded with blinding rage at an attack on the pack and would have come at him with full force. But that wasn't even what got his goat, it was the tormenting of his girlfriend who seemed innocent an undeserving party in all of this. She must have not have been part of the pack. Unfortunately, personal life and pack life often bled together. There was no way to keep someone safe from the type of life a were-animal led, a predator no less. There was no way to live two separate lives and keep them both safe. She wondered if she was human or even still alive. Was she murdered? It was difficult to judge as his expression was emotionless and perfectly blank. Even as the questions fluttered through her mind she did not dare pry. The real question, the one that truly would reveal everything was the 'why'. Why did Frost have it out for Tetradore? It didn't go unnoticed, the lack of that information he offered in that department. Except for the curious fact that he drew first blood.

Suddenly she froze. It was her turn in the proverbial hot seat. She sat up, leaning back into her chair, her toes tracing the ground, playing with the grooves of the worn wood flooring. She felt the heavy weight of that vibrant stare upon her and she shifted uncomfortably. Of course he would what to know that, she was clearly an outsider. It looks like she could leave out the little 'why' of her story as well. She attempted to remain her composure speaking with a nonchalance. "Well that is easy. I decided to leave a place that was no longer home. I drove until my little car couldn't drive anymore. It broke down somewhere on the highway where I set it on fire. About a minute or two away from the Welcome to Sacrosanct sign. The forest was there and I couldn't resist its call, I have been driving for days and was starving. I needed to find some food. So I holed up what few belongings I had left and shifted. I decided wherever my car broke down was where I was meant to live and here is as good a place as any. Not many seem to notice another face in the crowd. You know the rest of that story.. I have to say I have had a hell of a welcoming." The last words were uttered in a grim tone. She looked down at her wounded bandaged leg, smooth, clean and a pale caramel colour. She sighed softly, wondering if her parents were still safe, if leaving the right idea. Of course it was, for her own damn sanity or whatever was left of it, she had no choice but to go. There was only so much torment one could take. As long as he couldn't find her he couldn't hold them over her head. Surely he had more important things to do then to spend the time and resources needed to find her. At least that was what she told herself. It just had to be her reality.

Judging from Tetradore's story there was bound to be a boogey man anywhere she was bound to live. At least she had her freedom. She toys with her fingers, her plate cleaned off and her stomach sated. She leaned forward, damp hair strands fall into her face, the small movement allowed her the chance to shake off the feeling and erase that haunted look in her golden eyes. She looks right into Tetradore's vibrant green cat eyes. "So tell me, what has Frost's little panties in a twist to go through all that trouble to hate you and start an all-out pack war? Why does he hate you so damn much?"
