South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Sun Also Rises

He had not, perhaps, quite anticipated exactly what true was drinking to be quite so....potent in it's heat. After all, troy seemed to be handling it well, Dorian mostly assured he could do the same. He was steadily becoming more used to modern alcohols. The fae King highly partial to several different wines. Wines and Italians, after all, had always gotten along well. Those more modern spirits however so often caught the man by surprise. This one no exception. That liquor seeing his eyes widen the moment it touched his tongue and throat. Dorian struggling to prevent himself coughing as his eyes threatened to water. Heavens but it was strong! It has seemed so harmless and yet that burn seemed to heat his throat all the way down. Dorian eyeing that glass almost suspiciously now. Truly he hoped Troy would not find a need to toast to anything else. Maybe if he just sipped slowly at it and nursed it for a little it might prove less shocking. He hardly minded the taste after all, he merely found the intensity rather striking.

Troy's inquiry as to the matters of his own relationship were met with a ready grin. Those thoughts of Sebastian so often prompting that smile to his features. He was, by design, a notoriously private being even if the papers seemed content to attempt to splash his love life all over every European front page. Dorian still going to lengths to respect both his and his lovers privacy and yet he saw little harm in offering Troy those few words on his own relationship and just how well it was going. Sebastian and himself, while surely not expecting a child, had moved only from strength to strength he was assured. This was his first true relationship in the traditional sense and yet Dorian remained convinced of their success in this. The manner in which Troy momentarily looked away however was hardly missed, Dorian frowning slightly. Troy was expecting a child with a vampire! Surely his prejudice had at least begun to change? Dorian entirely unashamed of his own lover in any sense and yet he hardly commented upon it, merely affording Troy those few moments to come to terms with his own inner thoughts. The other man nodding and smiling after a minute. Dorian offering that simper in return, head bobbing softly at Troy's words before he moved to speak of that trip to Italy and England they had taken at the end of last year and the beginning of this one. The Monarch chuckling softly at that assurance they were both experiencing several things for the first time.

"And look how many centuries it took us."

He had never so asked Troy exactly how old he was and yet he knew the other Fae to be suitably aged in turn as to appreciate the comment. How curious it was after all that they had both gone several centuries without finding those notions of love or family so many others took for granted. The other Fae assurance he should enjoy that world was met with another nod, Dorian determined to do just that, Sebastian and he already talking of their next trip before that comment of a monarchy merely saw his head shake.

"Italy itself is enough of a Monarchy for me to run and even so I hardly desire to lead any sort of Fae organisation. I would not be opposed to lending my assistance to another, should it emerge and I find the leader personable, but for now I find myself so busy with work I don't know that I would have the time. Are you considering beginning one?"
