South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The moment his hand so rested upon her own in the effort to comfort that anxiety that so seemed to beset her frame seemed to see the young woman flinch in turn. Dorian momentarily allowing that look of surprise to eclipse his own features. She a reaction to his presence, let alone his touch, surely having never occurred before and yet his hand remained all the same, the woman seeming to settle a moment later as if she had perhaps misunderstood that gentle soothing gesture for some attempt to bring about harm. Had life truly been this harsh to her? Did she truly mistake even the most gentle of touches? Such questions, perhaps, were better left for later or indeed not to be asked at all. To query a woman upon her past more deeply then what was freely offered was the height of rudeness and indeed an unacceptable manner of behaviour. Even for all his curiosity the Fae King was wholly determined to remain that picture of gentlemanly in the company of that woman he had come to enjoy and indeed perhaps admire in some fashion for both her strength of character, resilience and indeed that distinctly 'old soul' within her that so seemed to speak to him in turn.

Dorian so made every effort in that moment to assure Raven that whatever had occurred between Sebastian and herself was hardly her doing in any sense and indeed- the Monarch hardly viewed her words as idle gossip offered merely to bring about distress. In all his years of life he had met but endlessly beings whom so enjoyed poking at the emotions of others, he so knew that type of being well- Raven distinctly not one of them. Her words were offered purely from concern, from that veritable loyalty of friendship. Dorian recognising as such within her readily and indeed the man could hardly bring himself to find irritation with her for that simple honesty and her efforts to simply be his friend. Raven offering him that news that she surely suspected Sebastian to be unfaithful in some sense. The anxiety to her words hurriedly saw the man attempt to calm her fears with his own explanation. Dorian taking those few moments to explain the nature of Sebastian's feeding habits, the way he went about achieving those meals, assuring her that he knew entirely off his lover's actions in this and had known for some time. Dorian long ago having made his peace with those realities off his relationship. The way Sebastian fed so hardly bothered him, after all, it was nothing if not vastly preferable to the alternative of attacking his victims violently and so seeking to take that blood by force. That anxiety seeming to lessen upon the young woman's features at his words. It was surely displeasing to him to have had her frightened by his own lover in any sense and yet to be afforded that chance to explain the particulars off it, to have his words listened too, was wholly satisfying in turn. Dorian determined to assure himself Raven was none the worse for wear for her experience the vampire he adored. The young woman seeming, for the most part, to be a truly sensible creature and that understanding seemed to all but dawn upon her features. Dorian allowing that subtle smile to touch his lips before the woman spoke again- asking of those difficulties in such a situation.

The Italian so paused for but a few moments, contemplating just those very words and yet he had surely wondered of them himself but a thousand time over, had spoken of them allowed to Sebastian himself within his own palace even! Before so simply coming to terms with such an idea within his own mind. His head shaking softly as he afforded his companion those soft words.

"I would prefer he hunt this way then the other. As for it being difficult for me to know what he does, in offering affection to others, it is surely so that it is not ideal and yet he cannot feed from just myself alone, it would be dangerous to my own health. I know though with great assurance and entirely without doubt that he is faithful to me alone. I trust him irrevocably. What he must do to eat does not bother me, in truth I rarely give it any thought at all, it simply....does not matter to me. I love him for him, all of him, that is all the matters."

There was nothing save for a simple and utter assurance in those words, Dorian offering them without pause or hesitation, those words wholly honest. Sebastian's eating habits would not change, they could not, he was a vampire and he always would be and so dwelling upon those fleeting moments in which the vampire might show affection to another in order to feed would be nothing short of futile. Those beings he fed on meant nothing to Sebastian and as such- they meant nothing to Dorian. That silver of his gaze frowning slightly at the woman's sudden assurance that her relationship with her mate was perhaps awkward in some sense, the girl offering those quiet words, so entrusting them to the Monarch now. Dorian wholly aware of the sensitive nature of such information and yet a moment of confusion so seemed to linger within his gaze. Illegitimate children from men were.....common in his time. While such a thing might make a woman utterly unworthy of marriage- to so bear the child of a man to whom she was unwed- those same rules simply did not apply to men. At least, not in his age. Most men sired but several bastard children before they married, those children rarely if ever legitimized else publically acknowledged even within the peasant classes. Dorian so given to presume that this was, perhaps, not as common as it had once been. This idea too, that Raven might be given to become wild in some sense seeing his eyes raise. Raven! So mild mannered and proper and perfectly poised. Surely not! The idea alone shocking to him.

"There are many things I do not understand about this modern world and its relationships but it seems to me, Raven darling, that neither this woman nor her children so saw your mate stay. He chose you. For to him you are clearly special just for what and who you are. If this other woman does not desire you to be part of her children's lives- then so be it- I do not see why it should matter. You will have your own life, your own family and children with your mate. They will be your world and nothing outside of it will matter. Your worth is not judged on the opinions of other so do not worry of them."

He uttered those words softly all the same, his hand so gently squeezing her own in reassurance before he lent back within his chair.

"As for this manner of so turning into a wolf I find this quite hard to imagine- you have the nicest table manners of almost anyone I have met outside of Sebastian."
