South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It seemed Frost had been expecting her since he didn't seem surprised when he saw her. True, he had mentioned meeting on the full moon but she had a tendency to forget things so it didn't really dawn on her until she saw the expecting look in his eyes and felt that approving pull in her conscious mind. He had never tried to force her into group situations and for that, he was thankful. She was still getting used to her own were form, let alone knowing there were so many other were's out there. She was a predator animal by nature, not used to socializing unless it was with her own kind. It was still weird to think that she called a horse her alpha since she still thought of him as a grazer. If she could have gotten them in close quarters where he could just stampede everywhere, she was sure she could have beaten him fair and square. But a deal was a deal and she was in his pack. She didn't mind it so far though. He took her shopping and explained things to her, though she always felt there was more he was holding back.

She was getting pretty good at getting all angles from others though so slowly but surely, she was putting the puzzle pieces together on things. Like how she'd known about Tetradore's sister and Frost before she'd even met her. She didn't know her name but she knew that she was a panther like Tetradore and Frost had, in a way, stolen her from Tetradore's pack. She wondered if that was the only reason they had issues with each other. Seemed like a pretty lame excuse to her. If his sister wanted to date a horse, why should he have a problem with it? But it wasn't her business. She gave the female panther plenty of space when she saw the cubs playing around her paws. She knew mothers were protective instinctively and she wasn't about to get her head bit off because she got too close. It seemed her comment about the panther being the sister didn't go unnoticed. She could feel Frost's curiosity in her mind and wondered if he would ask about it later. Luckily he held his tongue tonight.

But the panther had heard too and Malia could sense the irritation in the flick of her tail. After all, body language was much easier for her to understand. The panther answered back that she was and Malia nodded in acknowledgement. The panther listened to Frost as he introduced them but her gaze never left Malia so Malia kept her own gaze even as well. She wasn't raising herself in challenge to the panther but she wasn't submitting either. It wasn't in her nature. Frost had to beat her in a fight before she would even join his pack so the panther wasn't getting a free pass just because she got a title as Frost's girlfriend. She noted that Frost had called the children Nadya's but failed to mention his own relation to them. Did that mean he wasn't the father? If so, who was? Her brow raised in curiosity but she knew she wouldn't be getting answers to that tonight.

She flicked an ear toward Frost in puzzlement when he mentioned her getting a leather jacket. What did that have to do with anything? Did Nadya want a jacket or something? Malia was still so new to the whole concept of wearing clothes. It never occurred to her that buying them was supposed to be fun. She noted that Frost's gaze never strayed far from Nadya's children. It seemed that even though he left hints that he wasn't the biological father, he seemed to be protective over them none the less. That gave him some alpha points in Malia's opinion. Caesar was always good with the pups of the pack too. He never let them out of his sight when he was watching them and he always kept tabs on the pregnant mothers and the new mothers of the pack. Though she was curious why he let the cubs live if they weren't his. In her world, if a new alpha came in and took a female as his mate, any young pups from another male would be killed in an instant. Even the older ones would be driven away from the pack so they weren't competition later on. So much she still had to learn, apparently.

Nadya sat and said that they would have to go shopping soon and Malia scowled thoughtfully, glancing from Frost back to her.

"Sure, though I hope we avoid the shops that have real fur in their clothes. It gives me the creeps. Oh, and mannequins. I don't like those either."

She figured Nadya should know these things if she planned on taking her shopping. She watched as Nadya tugged one cub away from the other, only to introduce them to her as Izzy and Micah. Malia smiled, more at ease when she was looking at the cubs. Young ones, she could handle. She was used to playing with the pups in her former pack. It was one of her favorite pastimes. She had learned early how to control her strength so she didn't hurt them. Her eyes lit up as Izzy looked at her then started over to her. She thumped her tail on the ground as the cub got closer.

"Hi, Izzy, it's nice to....oh!"

She didn't get to finish her sentence because the cub brushed right past her to pounce toward her tail. So that's what she was after! Malia giggled as she moved the tail from side to side and up and down in an attempt to play with the cub but when she managed to catch it in her sharp teeth, Malia could only clench her jaw and groan in pain. She refused to retaliate though, knowing that wouldn't end well, plus she meant them no harm. She turned her attention to the banter between Frost and Nadya once Izzy released her tail, noting the anxiety in Nadya's voice when she spoke of the cubs "riding." She scowled up at Frost.

"Ride? What does that even mean? Is that slang for something I should know?"
