South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

That soft murmur of thanks that feel from Serafina's lips in the moment that cloth fell away managed to stir the faintest simper to his own. The man more pleased then he truly realised to hear her voice, as if this somehow assured him she was entirely well, that moment of elation perhaps prompting that soft kiss to her cheek, her surprise hardly unnoticed. Azrael half-inclined to roll his eyes at the idea that it should be surprising in any sense. Did he truly believe he had that little care for her? Then again he was still....learning, in a sense, to display that emotion he had spent so many years so deliberately keeping within himself. Perhaps a further effort need be displayed. For now however the man hardly chose to dwell on it, his hand reaching out to her own to help her to her feet and from that icy cavern, the dying moments of that battle echoing around them as those few remaining souls chose to flee rather than take on either of the three beings now within the warehouse and among that melted ice. Good. There had been enough death for one night. Far too much if he was truly honest with himself, although how many had fallen to him in comparison to the wolf he hardly knew, a part of him still finding some disdain for the death of humans. The very species he was supposed to protect and yet this was hardly the first time he had seen weak-willed mortals fall beneath the sway of a supernatural. Fae, after all, tended to be charming, alluring and entirely manipulative when given to desire something. How Sera had gotten mixed up in all of this he hardly knew, his displeasure in the notion of her being involved in the black market surely evident within his words and yet- for the first time the Hunter found himself almost aware off her exhaustion in this. A curious sort of emotion finding him then, his hand tightening briefly in her own if only to draw her attention to him before Raven arrived.

"It doesn't matter tonight."

He uttered simply, softly and perhaps almost uncharacteristically and yet he found the words entirely true. For once in his life it simply didn't matter what she had done. She was safe and that was far more meaningful to him. Azrael tonight, so having shifted in his own thinking in a way that was surely for the better of them both. His priorities seeming to have changed and re-ordered themselves quite without his consent and yet he could hardly bring himself to desire to change them all the same. The hunter far more committed to this, to them, then perhaps even he had realised and yet he hardly found himself concerned with the realisation all the same. The heavy sound of the wolf's feet drew his golden gaze away from his girlfriend for now and to the wolf herself as she approached. Azrael stepping to the side with the faintest of nod's to permit the animal access to that witch she adored. The man willing enough to admit that Raven was perhaps not entirely terrible. She had been useful tonight after all. His thinking upon even her inclined to shift if only just a little and yet even a little, for Azrael, was perhaps far more striking then it truly appeared. This one of the few times he had willingly worked with a Were and he could hardly say it had gone poorly. The man a little more accepting off her then he had been at the beginning and that was surely victory enough- and as far as he was willing to go for one night. That query from the wolf as to whether or not she could spend the night with them readily seeing his features shift into a scowl. He was willing to admit to the animals usefulness and indeed that, as being, he had perhaps gained some respect for her existence and yet that was entirely as far as he was willing to be pushed in a single night. Serafina was clearly fine, none of these men were going to rally within those few hours of darkness to launch a second assault and surely not with himself present. Raven was surely needed no longer and yet those words stilled on his tongue. He hardly understood that bond they shared, the man unwilling to speak for Sera entirely in this and yet surely.....surely the witch did not desire that creature in their bed?

A soft sigh left his lips, one hand running through his white gold hair in some effort to bite back that sharp retort that threatened to escape him. The man making a sincere effort for diplomacy tonight even if he hardly desired to. He had fully been intending to bring Serafina to his own home if only because hers was in a state of, well, fucking mess. No part of him, however, was willing to entertain the idea of that animal in his very home. No. They would have to go to Serafina's house and he would need repair that door tonight before they went to bed- they could clean up in the morning. It was something of a plan in the least.

"If you're staying then it's in the guest room. I would not be comfortable with a wolf on the bed or in the bedroom and even less so in your human form- but I am....alright with you staying in another room in any form you choose."

That alone was far more of a concession then the man usually made. Azrael so often refusing to be in the same home as some of those supernatural creatures and yet for tonight he was willing to cast those prejudices aside and at least allow her to stay, providing Serafina herself held no issue with Raven remaining, his gaze cast briefly to the witch now, affording her that chance to argue if she chose. It was, after all, her house. With that matter set aside for now the man easily offered his hand once more, letting Serafina fit her fingers within it as he led that small party from the warehouse and back out onto the street to start that walk home. Azrael readily considering that calling a taxi might well be faster than this, else simply lifting Sera up and running home and yet that would require him to make another trip for Raven in turn. Running at that speed for that long a press on his powers he hardly needed tonight.

"We will have to fix your door when we get home. Although I thought, tomorrow, if you like, I will simply get you a new one, a better one- a very, very strong one"

He muttered softly and to that woman alone as they walked. This, perhaps, as much as he was willing to say upon the topic of her kidnapping tonight. He fell silent again then, their feet (and paws) echoing along that street, his golden gaze glancing briefly to that wolf, the man disliking that she might be privy to this conversation he was assured was for Sera and himself alone and yet there was little to be done for it here and now. Azrael merely keeping his voice quiet as they continued. These sorts of conversations perhaps not an area he excelled within in any sense and yet that look of surprise upon her features when he has kissed her cheek simply...bothered him still. It was ridiculous he was sure and yet he could hardly deny it. His words clearly chosen with care then.

"If these are the sort of people you are choosing to do business with then at least let me show you some strategies or basic techniques you can use to defend yourself outside of magic use. Along with how to keep your home safer than it is. I..."

He paused once more, these surely not the words Serafina had expected from him in any sense and yet he was trying tonight, to be the very sort of partner she needed.

"I may never be comfortable with the idea of you dealing with people like that but, it's your life and it's your business and it is not my job to tell you what to do. I throw myself at people like that on a nightly basis, I'd be a hypocrite to tell you anything less. So I won't. All I ask is you please try to keep yourself safe and in future, maybe, let me know if you need someone to come with you or your dealing with anyone you think is extra suspicious- and let me teach you a few things. I can find you faster the next time and you might be less vulnerable then you were tonight."

He paused again, his gaze glancing back to her own. Azrael so trying his hand tonight at that role of supportive boyfriend rather than chastising her for her choices. She was a grown woman. She could make her own. Even if he didn't damn well agree with them. Azrael, for once, hardly choosing to make a big deal over this.

"You had me worried tonight."

And there it was.
