South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

In all the years he has been given to chase these ridiculous creatures about this planet....he never has met one quite like this, his own desire to murder the vile creature halted only perhaps, by the sudden curiosity he finds within her as she pulls his arrow from the earth, twisting it within her hand before holding the sharpened silver tip to her chest, the barely audible words uttered from her lips seeing momentary surprise linger somewhere within the depths of his golden gaze. It was hardly the first time someone had simply begged for him to end it, to rob them of whatever hellish existence they called a life and yet it is perhaps the first time anyone has asked for themselves to be cured through the embrace of death. How very...odd this girl was proving to be and indeed how very easy it would be to do just as she asked, even her eyes, beneath the tears that threatened to spill, seemed to hold some sense of finality within her request. A born Were rarely asked for such a thing, a born Were was an animal from the beginning, but a bitten one...maybe....somewhere within him he has some tendrils of pity left for those creatures, some remaining sense of decency that even Evelyn couldn't talk out of him, even after so many, many years of practising such an art. It was always the way he was, even as a human, some part of that mortal existence seeming to cling to him all the same, some inability to fully and entirely believe that those forced into this existence may still have some fraction of a soul worth salvaging....maybe some part of himself simply wanted to believe that about...him.

He simply moved to abruptly pull the arrow the arrow away from her, jerking it free of her hands, twisting it up to side back into the quiver behind himself as he continued to lean against the oaken weapon, regarding her once more, though indeed the look within his gaze had shifted slightly, less murderous perhaps and yet clear judgment still tainted those golden lenses as he took in her feminine features once more, indecision seeming to waver within him before a rather agitated sigh manages to fall from his lips, one hand reaching down to abruptly seize her forearm and very near haul her up and onto her feet, resisting the urge to flinch away from her all the same, merely touching her seeming to revolt him.

"Stand the hell up."

His hand releases her nearly instantly, arms folding back across his chest as he continues to ignore her for some moments, moving to unstring his bow once more, easily repositioning it over his shoulder before his gaze slices back to her own. It is merely pity, he supposes, that affords her these lingering moments of life.

"What bit you? What animal are you? Or are you so new you haven't even changed yet?"

There is clear...disgust within his words as he asks after her species and yet for a moment or so he allows himself some lingering hope that perhaps she has not even suffered a first change yet, that made she is still in possession of a soul. She can hardly be cured, of that much he is sure, yet he may be willing enough to at least extend what remains of her human existence. She may even be of use to him yet. Whatever shred of decency still remains however, is content to display itself- if only for a moment.

"Can you identify who...infected you? Your kind is hardly deserving of life- but the kind that infect others is even less so. There is no cure for what you have, your life is over and I'll be glad to help you with that- if you help me a little first."

He is not entirely cruel- not all the time, evidently content to offer the woman the death she so seems to desire, on the condition she might be willing to give up a name or description of who had attacked her first, quite willing to offer her revenge of sorts, if she even knew who was responsible. Hell, if she turned out to be useful enough he may even keep her around a little longer before putting her to sleep. That she might still possess some shred of a soul at least makes her....tolerable. If only barely.

"You tell me who bit you if you can and I'll find them for you. If you can't do that, then maybe you can help me with another little matter, then, if I'm feeling generous, I'll 'cure' you and save you the hell of the next full moon."

If he was going to be kind enough to end her existence, he might as well make use of her first.
