South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was merely unfortunate, perhaps, that in those few delicate moments the stallion hardly cared to look into her mind and see the way in which she had lived before, to peer into the very fabric of her being and see the terror and fear her previous Alpha had ruled with. He might have almost sympathized with the girl then, at least, in some sense. He might have almost understood her, after all, had he not come from much the same if not worse? Had he not spent his childhood cowering in fear at the hands of others until that fear had simply become violent intent? Until he had become the very thing they desired him to be and simply turned it back upon those tormentors? Perhaps the difference between them hardly lay in what they had come from- but what they had become. It was almost curious, truly, that the little creature before him still seemed to possess some sort of hope in the world. Some belief that the world was inherently good. Perhaps that was where they differed. He had learned those lessons she had failed to learn and so foolishly continued to cling to. The world was a strikingly simple place. Get them before they got you. That was all that truly existed to his own mind. He had survived where others had not and yet still they hunted him relentlessly, it was simply easier not to feel in the end. How pathetic emotion truly was when you were given to see it upon another, that anger and fear that coiled within the creature before him at his mere approach almost palpable enough to taste- horses, after all, sense such things almost readily and yet he hardly affords her comment as those heavy hooves pause before the boulder she has situated herself on. Why Negan would want....this girl he hardly knew. He hardly cared. Money was money however he went about getting it and returning her to him was a truly sufficient payday.

Her own words rang out then, his ears pricked forward to capture those sounds as he paused, breath rising like smoke from his nostrils as he merely allowed one eye to lift somewhere beneath that thick white forelock that shielded both his violet eyes from her own. Hmmm. Testy little thing aren't we? The woman declaring she knew whom he was as if she desired some sort of award for the discovery of the only giant snow-coloured war horse in the city. Her demand that he 'cut his act' merely met with that single lash of his tail against his flanks. They were all the same, shouting at him, making threats at him and all he had done was walk towards them. How terribly impolite they were. This poor girl perhaps another victim of Raven and her bedtime stories, the wolf rarely choosing to afford others the truth of what happened that fateful day and yet Frost truly cared little to correct it. Raven was worth terribly little, this 'Mira' as he suspected she was, surely of the same ilk. Creatures without value to him and as such their opinions held little sway, as amusing as they were.

"Hmm. I am quite assured you don't know me at all, if you did you would be entirely aware that this is not my being scary in any sense. This is me being pleasant."

Those smooth, cool words fell easily from his lips, the stallion regarding her a moment longer as if he took some peculiar enjoyment from watching her struggle to understand his intention, the girl remaining determinedly upon her boulder as if it might truly protect her and perhaps it would, for a time. She demanded to know his business with her in near the same breath, another of his affinities reaching for her then and yet this one was far less detectable then that chill, this one reaching effortlessly for her mind if only to peer within it and sort through those jumbled, panicked thoughts she had tried oh so hard to hide from her exterior with that falsified act of confidence. She was far more fearful then she appeared, that so easily used against her and yet for now he makes little effort to do as such, Frost withdrawing that power readily. How unfortunate it was that Negan so desired her, perhaps she did have a use. Confidence on a woman always was so appealing- this one wearing it like armour even if the fear inside her threatened to seep out at any moment. Maybe she did have value after all. Frost rarely content to show an interest in anything or anyone who could offer him nothing. Still- she might yet be a lost cause. Confidence was appealing. Defiance was not and she seemed to have a history of that.

"You are the one picking a fight, Mira. All you have done is shout accusations at me and snarl upon your rock. All I have done is stand here."

That was entirely true, his lip quirking slightly as if some facet of amusement could be drawn from that deduction. After all, was he truly picking a fight, or was she? That use of her name was effortless and yet so afforded her that knowledge that he knew whom she was. That touch of ice begun to work its way up effortlessly into her veins then, slowly, steadily climbing its way from her paws upward- the stallion deliberately allowing it to do no more then creep until she could feel each touch of icy chill. The woman seeming to become aware of it only moments later, that growl ripping through her as her teeth bared. Teeth were a truly meddlesome thing on predators and yet he had near mastered his ability to defeat them all the same. He was a war horse after all- he had been trained to do that very thing even without that Hunter upon his back.

"I am freezing you from the inside out, it will do you know harm unless I sustain it and it gives way to frostbite, else I allow it to reach your brain and induce a state of unconsciousness if you prefer not to be present for the ordeal, it truly is up to you."

His voice remained as it always did, expressionless, empty, cold and entirely free of any true hint of emotion as the stallion himself was so famed for being with those outside his own pack. Those select few alone allowed to see perhaps a glimpse of what existed beneath those frozen walls that surrounded him. He merely allowed that cold to continue for a little longer, working its way up her limbs with that same steadiness, the stallions till positioned as he had been throughout that conversation merely paused a few feet from the base of that boulder. The equine content to reveal at least a little of his hand- so to speak.

"Negan has asked me to bring you home to him, we are business partners from way back. Spineless weasel of a man he is..."

Those heavy hooves shifted upon the earth, feathered feet moving forward now as the stallion simply began to circle around that rock with a slow, easy walk. Those final words muttered with a clear discontent, Frost apparently content to...sympathise with the girl in that moment. After all, no one could truly argue Negan was anything other, the stallion allowing a sigh of sorts to leave him- one ear trained upon her all the same just in case she should decide to move.

"It would be a waste, I think, to bring you back to him. He is so careless with his toys after all. Then again he is paying me very well to do it. If you can offer me something better, of course, I might be tempted to leave you alone. If you can't I will simply hand you over to him, you should hurry and decide- it's getting cold."

There was truly little about Frost that was foolish in any sense. The stallion entirely content to screwed Negan over if something better might come along and yet he suspected the woman had nothing to offer that might counter Negan's own generous compensation. Still, it was almost more amusing to afford her some glimmer of hope, the man allowing that cold to continue to work its way through her form....
