South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The obsidian hued wolf could not help but watch the unreadable cat with skeptical eyes but she never turned down an opportunity. She enjoyed the challenge of the hunt, the exhilaration and the power that thrummed through her legs up to her jaws. Perhaps she needed it more than this strange cat did but she would never really admit that. How close she had been to snatching that small deer in the woods by herself. An average wolf wouldn't have a chance. An average wolf was not Mira. She was much larger than a wolf, she was a were after all. It had come with certain perks that made them bigger and badder than their animal selves. The slinky black panther complied and uttered simple word to follow her. Cats moved so differently from wolves it was almost mesmerizing to watch the way their bodies contorted as though the vertebrae moved independently from one another. Felines also really didn't work well with others, you didn't see felines in the wild working as one in a pack. They were solitary creatures and Mira was well aware of this. One thing for certain was this woman was definitely not blind.

Mira was content to keep the distance between them as they walked, keeping a watchful eye on the stranger just as much as she probably did with her. It would seem both creatures possessed trust issues, which was fine by her. She would rather be a wary wolf than a dead wolf. They both moved silently and in tune within the thick brush. They were two very different predators and yet both just as formidable in their own way. She wasn't aware of Nadya's link with her pack and the villainous horse named Frost. If she had known better she would have probably kept her distance. From everything, she had learned about both of them. She wasn't quite sure if putting herself in a vulnerable position of hunting with the mate of a formidable enemy was a good idea. She was a lone wolf, she had every intention to keep her head down in terms of pack business she had no part in.

It didn't take much for those heightened senses to pick up on the herd of elk, her ears capturing their noises before they came into view. Her golden eyes both landed upon her when the other spoke about her plan. She seemed to know these lands and Mira could trust in that. Her nose was damn good in sensing out lie and she seemed far too sceptical with her to have other plans afoot. The wolf was willing to partake in this strategy putting her faith in the not so stealthy hunter. However, the plan itself seemed entirely feasible, she was willing to herd the beasts into their snapping jaws. "I can manage a little stampede." Of course she could. "I will come up along the side after I get them moving. If you need help just yell or flail or something." Her intentions weren't to have her killed by a dangerous stampede of elk.

It was impressive the way the feline moved along the trees with seamless ease, maybe just maybe they could pull this off. It would appear she could be quiet if she wanted.

Mira allowed her some time to set herself into position, her form blending seamlessly within those shadows. She bided her time, pacing along the fringes of the forest, eying their prey and scoping out the route. The wolf within her keeps a watchful eye upon each member of the herd as if sensing their weaknesses. Carefully, she had her eye on one, one that was just on the outskirts of the herd. She was an older elk, without offspring. That one. Her mind signalled to her already seeking out its weaknesses, noticing something off the way she stood. Perhaps the beast was lame. Her mouth seemed to water but she didn't let her hunger overrule that calculating judgement.

She kept her eyes alert for the jungle cat but she was out of sight. She would need to trust she would be where she said she would be. She prowled closer toward the elk her eyes honed in on. Surely the impressive creature were aware of her slinking confident frame. Some had already started snorting warnings to one another, their heads shot up to pick up on the scent of a nearby predator. Her back bristled as she alerts them of her presence blatantly coming up along the left of them so they wouldn't try running up into the forest but toward the lake. She sends her body into motion, those lethal teeth bared as she sets off after her elk, at an easy trot. One started and the rest began in succession into one unified herd, just as they had planned. However, it didn't stop Mira from snapping at the limbs of the elk, hoping to injure her so that Nadya could make her move. But with all of these frantic stampeding beasts much larger than them, it was a dangerous tactic. It wouldn't take much to be struck by a set of hooves; Mira nearly dodged a set of bounding hooves. The thrill filled her body, the thrill of the hunt. At last her snapping jaws made purchase to the hock, the taste of blood filling her mouth. But taking down this beast was not a solo mission. Her job was to herd the creatures so they thundered toward where Nadya lay in wait. See, Mira could play well with others when they weren't a danger to her.

But in the back of her mind, she hoped Nadya knew what she was doing. She would feel pretty damn bad if she had a play in the death of Tetradore's sister.
