South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It was the luck of the draw really when it came to meeting species of the different supernatural world. Raven was fortunate enough to befriend non-Were creatures. She had grown quite close with Isolt, the red-headed vampire, and Dorian a Fae that also happened to be a King...a King of Italy! All had shown their true colors providing the woman a glimpse to see that not everyone was terrible. Serafina just happened to be the witch that she trusted the most. Partly because the raven-haired woman wasn't afraid to smack some sense into her and partly because they were tethered together. The witch had shown her loyalty time, and time again, and Raven did her best to return the favor. The only non-Were creature she was still apprehensive about was that blonde haired Dark Hunter, that had somehow ensnared Serafina's heart. His poor attitude and constant belittling manner was enough to make the lupine grow agitated to where she wanted to bite him. However, he had his uses too, just a little bit of course. At the end of the day she could maybe trust him. After all she was bound to the witch and that made her untouchable. A firm nod was given as she spoke proudly and with a solemn vow.

"We are bound together, I trust her with my life."

If she was ever in danger she knew she could rely on her pack and the raven-haired witch, even if she didn't want to get her clothes a dirty. Besides, Serafina did sort of owe. Working with the Dark Hunter to recuse her from that Fae and his goons was not an easy task, no, not an easy task at all! Raven had no real plan on how she wished to spend this night alone and away from her pack. Henry needed a lot of time and work to get more accustomed with his feline half, and she didn't think he was trying hard enough. Perhaps she held herself into a higher standard knowing if she didn't have control of her wild lupine self then others would be left to suffer. The goal tonight was to simply roam around the southern woods and allow herself that moment to be alone and not have to depend on anyone else. After all most of her day was spent helping and serving others, not always on herself. The idea that she appeared lonely was a bit half-true. If she wasn't the only female in the pack then perhaps while the boys had their night she'd have a girl's night too. It was a bit odd though that Mira was questioning her about fond memories of being a wolf. Of course she enjoyed being in this form, there were just times, when she lost control when she would do something that she'd regret.

That Mira enjoyed running about wasn't surprising, but she listened intently until she too heard that noise. Grey-trimmed ears stood on end atop her skull, fully alert, as she attempted to pinpoint just who or what was causing that ruckus. Her first thought went to Frost stalking up to attack. Her second thought was her, once believed, dead Father make his return with that terrible Dark Hunter that tortured her and Frost within his cellar. She hadn't picked up a trace of her Father, the woman only telling Tetradore, believing he needed to know what sort of oncoming threat could occur to her and the pack. She refused to tell her mate, afraid he would go off looking for him. The last thing she needed was for her Father to harm her spotted companion and Alpha. As her head raised up slightly she tasted the scent finding it was not predator, but prey. Her tail would sway side to side nodding in earnest. Maybe, it wouldn't be so bad to investigate. She would spring into action darting through the bushes, following the sound and scent, slowing down slightly for Mira to catch up.
