South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

The loose gravel of the shaded avenue pops and crackles beneath the tires of the Audi she pilots in an erratic and unpleasant tempo, Anastasia no more enthusiastic an admirer of automobiles than she had been the last time she had been forced to take her place behind the wheel. It seemed that not even the sprawling bounty of a century could foster within her a fascination for these supposed miracles of engineering. The merits of being without a chauffuer in favor of silence and solitude was a matter of heated internal debate for the wayward Russian duchess as she brings the vehicle to a slow halt in the looming shadow thrown by the stable's grand archway.

Anastasia knew well precisely where she would find the young girl, in the same intuitive and etherreal way in which she knew most everything else. That and, of course, the fact that their initial meeting had transpired in the immaculately-manicured paddock of these very stables. Weres, as was the custom of nearly all of Mother Nature's creatures, craved the assurance that came with the companionship of those of their alternative selves. And so it stood to reason that Calliel would linger here.

It also stood to reason that Anastasia's abrupt and undivulged absence would earn her some measure of scathing resentment, though she herself had never been one wont to exhibit such a childish aversion to solitude. Independence had always been and would be forevermore a defining characteristic of the fallen royal, a trait that had allowed her to take leave of her own Maker (and for him, also, to take his leave of her) for nearly a decade. It was the way of things, immortal or otherwise, and it would be a lesson hard-learned by the young Calliel.

And so it is with silent grace that Anastasia accepts the greeting offered to her, crossing her own arms as the slightest simper tugs coyly at the brims of her lips to draw fissures into her usually austere facade. "Looking for you, of course," she lilts, the accent heavy upon her tongue. "Though from your tone I fear I may have caught you at a bad moment. Would you prefer I leave?" It is a farce, an invitation for the angst she knows bubbles and froths just beneath the surface of the youthful Were's fractious veneer, for they both knew the answer. But it was better to allow the girl to deliver her blows, a yearning that would corrode as time and maturity took their tolls, so that they may pursue far more... useful endeavors.
