South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras found himself within the borders of the park consistently. He noticed it was the quieter part of town and he didn't need to deal with the hustle and bustle of traffic and crowds. Though it wasn't as quiet as his lodge at the edge of town, he couldn't stand being cooped up in the massive home. He spent the last few centuries in isolation and the man didn't mind being alone, he rather enjoyed it, he knew it was time to venture forth. The rebuilding of his court took first priority as he knew the faerie race was dwindling far too rapidly. He wanted to offer as many creatures like him a home and protection from the outside world.

Shrugging his shoulders casually, he removes his hands from his pockets as he begins to shrug out of the blazer. It was a warmer day, the weak sunlight filtering through the trees overhead. Already, the leaves were beginning to change color, the orange and red hues vibrant against the green of the grass. Soon, the city would be blanketed in snow, something he didn't particularly mind, though it made flying a bit... uncomfortable. Still, he wouldn't miss an opportunity to release his appendages from their prison.

Unfortunately, that was out of the question; it was far too light out and even if he made his way to his favorite clearing, there was a chance he would be spotted.

Stifling a sigh that so yearned to be released, he lays his blazer casually over his arm and prowls deeper into the park, finding a relatively quiet area. Pausing beneath a rather large tree, he tilts his head back to look amongst the branches, debating if he wanted to climb off the ground. After a moment of consideration, he changes his mind and instead, turns on a heel and lowers himself to the ground. The base of the tree flush against his back, he drops his jacket to the ground next to him, leaning his head back until it touches the trunk.

The Fae was stagnant in his search for his fellow companions and the meeting with Dorian seemed entirely too far away. He had yet to yield any new leads while being in Sacrosanct and it was frustrating to say the least. How long could Andras possibly stay in the city? His court was reliant on themselves, they did not need him to live their lives. They were aware of the safe-haven that he so offered them. Yet, the man was hesitant to leave. He had been here for only a few short months, he could afford to stay a bit longer. Perhaps it was time to let the anger, that so raged upon his memories, go.

Parting his lips to exhale, he pushes his conflicting thoughts away and instead, allows his hazel eyes to flutter close, enjoying the warmth of the sun to caress his face. Maybe he would stay in this blasted park until nightfall just so he could get airborne. The feeling of the wind on his face tended to clear his mind.
