South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. When she saw him, she hardly felt that need to protect herself. But this urge to protect him from herself. It was hardly safe for the average mortal, even vampire or were creature alike. No many could withstand the intense destructive heat that was able to create within the volatile fury. It was the earth's way of making new land, why in the hell was it in her, such a powerful, volatile force that could devour whatever it came across. Not even the forest was a match for its blazing liquid fury. It was a pity, it was hardly her intention to cause such mayhem on the very thing she would seek solace within. Now that very solace was burning to a crisp and it was all her fault, unable to control these emotions and lava that swept from her like the volcano she was.

It was the familiar face that peers within the mouth of that cave, from the wreckage she had made left her partially safe, it was strange, that feeling that maybe it wasn't going to be so entirely dire. How did he manage that one? The panther had saved her once before, was it that odd to think that somehow, he would find a way out of this one? Maybe, but most likely, she was doomed unless she could turn this constant stream of destruction off. It was not like she had an off switch to the subconscious that waged this internal war in her. Did anyone?

Many beings would simply give up and leave, it would have been wise. It was blistering hot in this small little corner she had deemed her temporary sanctuary. He claimed that she couldn't hurt him. How was he so sure? How could be so certain when everything seemed so chaotic and falling apart at the seams. It was quite possible that she was dying, that once the lava ran out there was nothing left of her. Worry riddled her features, drawing forth a breath as if it was her only lifeline, that fact that she could breathe. If she could breathe she was alive. Surely she could kill him, not intentionally, but lava was unrelenting when it had you in its clutches. It was far more relenting than fire. She shook her head, imploring it wasn't safe. How could it be? He continued forward, crossing that small distance, his paws avoiding the lava that still streamed from her upon that floor. The space that existed between them was closed as he moved with a sureness that she definitely didn't feel.

Surprise filled her that the contact didn't scorch him, no not at all. It sizzled from the coldness interacting with her scorching temperature. His skin had impressively hardened into impenetrable granite, as black as this previous coat. He brushed up against her, flaking off some of that weakened charred volcanic rock, revealing more of the reddened glow briefly before the air attempted to cool it, turning it black. She leaned into his touch, greeting him once she realised that it wasn't going to burn him to a pulp. How comforting such an idle gentle touch could offer in this moment, something she felt so in need of and yet she didn't know it, nor ask for it. Wolves craved touch, needed the strength of the pack even if they were dominant.

She muttered those words of disbelief, taking comfort in that closeness. What couldn't he do? Of course, he had a response for that. "Who needs to fly, when you can teleport?" She questioned. Mira never really envied the creatures that could fly, she was quite content on ground level, thank you very much.

Even despite his presence that felt so inexplicably comforting to the lava wolf, she certainly felt convinced that things had taken a turn for the worst. That perhaps this was her final chapter to her story. This dismal feeling washed over her, spreading that seed of doubt so that she allowed that head to lower slightly. Tetradore hardly seemed like he agreed with her.

Hearing that familiar Spanish lilt to his voice felt like a thirst she hadn't realised she had as familiarity struck her, that reminder of a family she once held dear. She rarely conversed with the wolves that knew Spanish in that awful pack, normally muttering out curse words when her blood boiled. "Diosa del fuego?" She repeated allowing her mind play over every syllable, feeling nostalgia for each and every one. For a moment, he chased back that dismal dread within. "I could get used to that." A thoughtful expression, found her face as a small haughty smirk played upon her wolf features, a new crack created within the volcanic rock, spilling a small trickle of fresh lava.

For a moment she forgot all about the inferno roaring just outside that small cave, the distant sound of humans and sirens. "Your right, Tetra, so how do we get out of this one? You see, I'm not really dressed for travel." At least she was joking, sarcastic but still playful. Even if he could convince her to walk out of this cave, she would bring way to much attention to them, not to mention more destruction she could cause simply by walking on that so very flammable debris on the ground.

He then revealed hehad some sort of plan without revealing a hell of a lot. Curiosity peaked within the volcano wolf. He always seemed to know of a place. This man certainly had a lot of places. He had a... ship, at least two apartments and now this obscure place that was apparently safe. If it came from anyone else she might have thought it rather sketchy but there was something honest in her emerald-eyed companion. Not to mention she was like a walking bullshit detector.

What a loaded question. It hit her harder than she thought. But there was an obvious answer. He had proven himself with his open candidness that he could be trusted. He had not led her astray when he easily could have. There was a darkness in him, something haunted in those emerald eyes of his that could not be hidden, even despite that seemingly resting scowl face he had going on. But not now, despite his skin hardened like granite, he had somehow felt reassuring, a source of comforting calm.

Trust was one of those things she kept in an internal chasm, locked up tight and not easily reached. She met his emerald gemstone eyes, they seemed to glow from a light source of all their own. His eyes seemed to have hardened like his body had so they didn't burn from the immense unbearable heat she radiated. After a brief pause, the golden glow of her eyes captures his emerald ones. "I trust you." It wasn't exactly the easiest thing to say but Tetradore had earned her trust in this very moment.

"If it is not safe for you.. You need to leave me and not think another thing about it." She wasn't going to allow him to go down with a sinking ship. His pack needed him. Those blazing eyes totally engulfed the pupil peered at him, all seriousness of the weight of her words. She huffed at him, exhaling as she did. "Gato dulce tonto.." Foolish sweet cat.
