South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Navi hadn't even considered where in the outskirts she took the creature. She was so focused on finding an escape route she hadn't thought of what other things that lurked silently around them. Navi, plopped down on the frigid rock and still found herself replaying the situation that just occurred over and over again. She again, was lost in her own mind not paying close attention to the small animal or what it was doing. She wondered if she'd ever be in a situation where she stood face to face with a dark hunter. She automatically shuddered at the thought. As soon as her body shuddered she jolted back into reality and saw the little pup look uneasy and plop on the ground. "Queasy? I'm assuming you've never gone that fast before, have you? It can be taxing on others. Next time, try to just close your eyes. Hopefully there won't ever be a next time though." She watched the animal remain lying on its belly. After a few moments of silence Navi got up and was about to search for a sleeping spot but she watched as the little pup lift herself back up and started making its way over to her. The creature had explained that it was indeed not a pup but a wolf. Navi cocked her head slightly and inquired, "Oh! I've only seen wolves from a distance. You can shapeshift into smaller pups? Is that common among were-people?". Navi wanted to ask as many questions as she could since this was her first time interacting with a were creature before. She knew though that now was not the time to berate the wolf with questions though, especially since she listened to the were suddenly speak and tell Navi its name. It was Raven. "Raven? Your name implies dark-haired or a thieving person. From what I sense though, you are far from thieving." She smiled deliberately studying Raven. She then heard the wolf thank her and asked what her name was. "My name? It's Navi but no need in remembering," she spoke softly with her eyes glued to the grass beneath her. She usually gave an alias if she encountered others but for some reason she didn't mind telling Raven her true name. Breaking her eye contact with the ground, Navi gazed at the wolf who had now morphed back in to its much larger, more intimidating form. She couldn't control her curiosity and began to circle around the werewolf examining it intensely. When she thought she had acquired enough visual information on the creature she asked, "What are those scars from?" It looks as though you've had a troubled past. Have you been in Sacrosanct long?" Navi had a tendency to ramble whenever she found something interesting. "Also, I wouldn't have called you a dog if I had known you were a werewolf," she added. That was as close as Navi could get to apologizing. She always found it hard to admit when she was in the wrong. "I suppose you have somewhere to go back to," she declared. She peeked across her shoulder to see Raven's response as she was gathering leaves to make a bed. Navi had had enough of trees for the night. "Oh, and it would be best not to mention to anyone that there's someone like me roaming around the outskirts. I've tried to stay hidden for a very long time now. I can't have you go and reveal my whereabouts." Navi firmly announced. As the gathered leaves started to resemble what seemed to be a resting place Navi settled down nestling into the makeshift bed. Laying there, she made one last inquiry. "Don't you travel in packs?"
