South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

That blissful solitude was absolutely shattered when that small flailing creature somehow landed upon the grumpy bear below that overhanging tree. He was gruff and stern with the petite creature who was obviously a shifter. A shifter much like himself, only much less intimidating. Perhaps it left him mildly curious and the other part just wanted to be alone, alone in this strange woods alone. His only slice of quiet he could even hope to possess was when took his bear form. He was always so busy when he was human, the bustle and shuffle of running an empire that it wore away at the beast he locked up tight within him. He worked so very hard to build his business from the ground up, so he could buy that security and safety for him and his sister. He had learned at such a young age that money was power. So he would commit himself to be the top of that proverbial food chain so no one could touch him.

The extremely loud roar that escaped him seemed to make the trees rattle and the ground shake with that thunderous sound. It could probably be heard for miles, that earth rumbling sound. Part of his abilities were to control every aspect of sound, including using it as a weapon should he so choose. But the little being that startled the polar bear was hardly a threat to him, perhaps he had reacted too harshly.

He shook so very suddenly, releasing a grunt to unseat the small oddly patterned bear that seemed to fall from the sky itself, landing on the one fluffy thing that would make the impact less painful. She rolled down from that perch upon his wide back, making a relatively gentle landing to the forest floor. He swung his head around so his chocolate eyes search for the girl who was staring up at sky belly up as if stunned and unable to move. Was she hurt? She just lay there. His large imposing body could crush such a small little thing like her. Then she moved, more like twitched, trying to upright her upturned body so very slowly. Did she hit her head on a rock? Maybe he should take a peek and see if she was alright. She fell on him, he thought grumpily finding himself at odds with himself.

Once up, she shook out her fur much like a squirrel would before moving rather blindingly quick that it surprised him. Any fear that she should have had for him was entirely gone. What was that look in her eye? Excitement. How was she not hightailing it to safety when the likes of him stood and roared like he did. He was a polar bear, they practically commanded respect everywhere they went. He was not met with fear, but something else. It was an eagerness that made him pause. Maybe HE should have been frightened. He turned his body to face her. If you were getting lunged at by a ball of seemingly unbounded energy you would too. Not to mention the high pitched chirping that left her lips! She looked as perky as anything he had ever seen. He had threatened to eat her and she was somehow excited to see him!

Surely she had to hit her head pretty hard.

The bone white bear peered at her with uncertainty. HIYA! She exclaimed ecstatically, her tail flopping in a rather comical fashion. He looked at her as if she were an alien, an entity he wasn't entirely prepared to deal with. How much energy could one little creature possess? "hello." That English accent echoed in a rather deadpan fashion.

Well, he was going to find out, just how much energy she possessed.

He was suddenly bombarded, pelted by an onslaught of questions. He couldn't even get a word in even if he wanted to. So much for that much-needed peace and quiet. He nearly closed his eyes, willing that excitement and banter to just go away. Yet, it was somehow amusing to watch the little panda bear try to roar, failing miserably so it sounded more like a yorkie yapping away at a squirrel. The shadow of his form all but consumed her as he watched her, peering down upon her, ignoring some of her questions. "When you are as big as me, creatures as small as you typically go running when they hear that sound." He chuffs at her, his face so close to hers that she probably felt the humidity of his hot breath. All he wanted was some peace and quiet. Yet he didn't quite leave either. She seemed so star struck by his roar. He wasn't entirely certain that she was completely alright after she did fall out of a tree.

"Aren't you supposed to be a good climber?" He couldn't help but ask, lowering his massive head to her level. His big black, wet nose hovering every closer. He breathed her in, expecting to smell something aloof or perhaps something that would be out of the ordinary and yet all she did was smell of forest and that faint undertone of a human.

All he wanted was to fish, to feed his hungry bear the best way that he could, given this environment so he could be a better leader at his company. So he didn't accidentally rip someone's head from the shoulders at a small mistake. A look suddenly dawned on the small bear so suddenly that he was almost nervous to find out what that thought was. He had a sneaking suspicion that he wasn't going to be able to shirk her, no matter what he said. The creek was so close that even if he did manage to deter her she would have probably been able to find him.

He almost regretted the words as soon as they escaped his brain. "Yes, if I'm not going to eat you then I need to eat something. If you can keep quiet and promise not to scare all the fish away you can come. But if you scare them all away, I will need to reconsider your role." He sighed, his chocolate eyes peer at her with that intimidating stare he often used on people. She seemed so undaunted by his presence he had to wonder how she survived this long.

She was so small, how did she fight that current with those tiny legs of hers? "First things first, what do you know about fishing anyways?" He asked apprehensively, nudging her with his nose, trying to catch her on her fearless bluff.

Maybe she was a better fisher than she was at her tree acrobatics.
