South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Abigail Hughes

Abigail was an excited girl by nature, she had a unique knack for seeing the good in the world that surrounded her, no matter how dismal the outlook might be. Her father had once told her that it was a trait she'd gotten from her mother, and truly, maybe it was. She couldn't remember a time in which the older woman had not had a smile on her face. That joy, however, reached a whole new level when it came to making friends. Unlike Abigail's companion, friends were not aplenty for the little red panda. She was new to this city and this whole living on your own thing. Making friends was hard when she didn't have the same classmates at college and when the metropolis was big enough to eat her alive! It made this meeting all the more wonderful, the woman quite near declaring that their newfound friendship certainly had to be the work of FATE! Her little ears twitched as that gleeful look crossed the expressive panda's features. Her head bobbed in insistance that surely the pair had been destined to meet, that wiggling entirely enthusiastic all the same. She was just certain they were going to be the best of friends!

It was this certainty that prompted Abigail to listen with such rapt attention as her new bestie spoke of her crow companion, especially now that she'd had made such an important discovery at their ability to communicate. Abigail tried to be friendly with her friend's friends. After all, she'd met Alexis' Raven and that had turned out okay, surely Mr. Crow would be an enjoyable companion too! Maybe Mr. Crow would hang out with her in the forest sometimes! Her insistence that Mr. Crow simply put up a facade to the world at large, however, was met with an almost knowing look as she leaned in for that conspiratorial whisper. Abigail certainly knew some people like that. In fact, she'd almost say her Arlo was a little bit like that too. They were all just big softies underneath it all! "I can't wait to meet your Mr. Crow!" Abigail responded, entirely sincere, even if they were speaking of a mere bird. After all, maybe Mr. Crow was like her? Maybe he was a were too but just...wasn't inclined to show it? It was certainly something to consider, at the very least.

Any further contemplation of the winged creature, however, was interrupted only by that idle inquiry as to what, exactly, she was. Such a question was hardly bizarre in the slightest, after all, it wasn't as if her kind freely roamed the forest or anything. Most people associated her with some sort of cat or..raccoon or something. Even her Arlo hadn't quite been sure of what to make of her. Even so, that admittance of what her kind was called came with a rather unexpected declaration that she was exotic. Abigail could hardly help that bubbling giggle upon her lips, even if it sounded little more than yips. "I'm not exotic! I'm just me!" She insisted, entirely sure of this fact. The only exotic thing about her was the auburn hue to her hair and even that wasn't all that awe inspiring considering her heritage. In a place as diverse as this city, Abby blended in like white on rice. Speaking of rice - did she just hear the word bamboo?

Abigail had enjoyed her fair share of those young bamboo leaves in her youth, but that had been years ago. She hadn't eaten bamboo in ages now. Maybe she should try to grow some, that seemed feasible right? Even so, she brushed off her newfound friend's concern over that plant rather easily, the girl vastly more interested in those fruits her friend did have as those tupperware containers came spilling from her bag. That looked so tasty! Those containers, however, were hardly the only object within that bag, those shiny gemstones catching her small hazel eyes all the same. Cautiously she leaned forward to sniff at those stones, entirely aware of exactly what they were. How did her friend manage to get these? Any questions of them, however, vanished at the sheer mention of spaghetti! Pasta, it seemed, was a topic Abigail was delighted to speak about, much less to inform her friend of her own country's particular obsession with rice. Even that, however, paled in comparison to that fabled tale of lamb, one Abigail desperately wished to try. It was exciting that Illy was willing to venture into those fancier restaurants with her, even if neither girl knew where to go. "Hm..." Abigail responded in a contemplative fashion. "I can find out where to go. Maybe Arlo will know." She nodded quite firmly, even though, truly, her best friend hardly seemed like the type of fellow to enjoy such fancy places either...still...maybe he'd be able to help her find one anyways.

Her gaze slowly turned back towards those shiny stones as Illy began to pick them up, pulling them back into her bag of prized possessions. It was clear to Abby how important those stones were to his friend, the woman entirely content to comment on their prettiness. The last thing she expected, however, was to be offered one of those pretty little trinkets. That inquiry enough to bring a gasp to her lips. "Really?! You'll give me one?!" She inquired, her mouth parted in awe. She stared at that necklace in amazement - it was certainly the prettiest thing that Abby ever owned! "Are you sure? It looks really expensive." The little panda inquired, uncertain if it was even acceptable to take such a gift when she could give nothing in turn. Fortunately, it was the brush of hair around the blonde fae's ears that drew her eyes away from that necklace, those pointed tips entirely curious. Abigail was quick to inform the young woman that she liked the shape of those ears, Illy's were far more interesting then her own. She was surprised, truthfully, to discover people made fun of her friend because of her ears. That seemed like such a silly thing to make fun of someone for but Abby knew how mean people could be. "I'm sorry....but I think that they're nice." She responded, nodding firmly as if she could not possibly be argued with.

Rather, her hazel eyes widened ever so slightly as those containers were opened to reveal an assortment of fruits and veggies. It all looked SO good! The girl picked up a piece of an apple between her paws, reclining slightly on her back haunches to stick it in her mouth and quite happily chew on it. It was Illy's voice that drew her gaze upwards and yet, that question hardly made her pause in the slightest. "Oh, that's easy. I can be a human too! Like you. I'm a were...isn't Mr. Crow one too?" She inquired, glancing up at her companion inquisitively. Hey, it was a good question! He could be!
