South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

The Dark Hunter despised being in such a clear position of vulnerability, he hated having to rely on someone else for his wellbeing, particularly someone who seemed altogether ignorant of the supernatural life that surrounded her. Even so, Alexander could tell quite well that he was in no position to deny her assistance. His whole body seemed reluctant to obey even the simplest commands. That venom that ran through his veins was certainly taking its toll, making him sluggish to a fault. There was a clear disgruntled look upon his features as he made an effort to climb back up that brick wall in a standing position, the man relying heavily upon that wall behind him to support his weight. That venom was moving far faster than he had anticipated it would. Even so, he made some effort to be amicable to the girl, providing him with that English translation of his name, only to find her accepting his hand just so that she could slip beneath his arm, drawing her body into his with the clear intention to support the man's weight. A glimpse of surprise crossed his features at that sudden closeness, one very few even attempted with the Macedonian King and yet, he hardly voiced a word of it. Rather, the woman seemed content to offer him an explanation but moment's later.

Regretfully, he slowly nodded in agreement, his fingers reaching out for that blade once again if only for some sort of means of protection should any of those more aggressive members of those otherworldly races see fit to take advantage of his current situation. He offered that wide eyed girl a rather blunt explanation of what that knife was for, altogether thankful she hardly asked any further on it before she stepped forward, his own feet near stumbling after her. He was well aware that her slender frame struggled to keep the majority of his weight, the Hunter quickly attempting to adjust to put as little upon her as he possibly could. That breathlessness to her voice caused a small frown to cross his features and yet, he said nothing of it, merely offering her a small nod. "Nice...to meet you..too." Those words were becoming almost harder to form, causing his eyebrows to crinkle together in a rather minute display of concern. They needed to get somewhere safe before the full toxin hit his system, the hunter entirely unsure of just how bad it would get when his own supernatural system was already trying to fight off that foreign substance within him.

The entirety of the man's attention began focusing upon that pace and ensuring he could keep his limbs moving, his thoughts still sharp as ever despite the way his body had begun to betray him. Those blue-green eyes only briefly turned towards the young woman at his side as she all but insisted he accept her gratitude in some fashion or another. That stern tone to her voice was equally as brushed off in the same fashion her previous insistence was, after all this was very much the mission that had been bestowed upon his immortal life - to serve and protect. Well...sort of. Admittedly, Alexander hadn't been doing very much of that the past few centuries. That inquiry of what he was, however, caused a soft sigh to leave his lips, the man sincerely doubting she'd understand his species even with a name to give it. "They call us Dark Hunters." He responded, easily enough. Those words drawn out in the same fashion his previous one. Thankfully, it seemed as if her building was just around the corner, at least, so he assumed with the way she stopped at the front doors.

The stairs, however, were a whole different battle, his weight increasingly placed upon her as those minutes passed and that venom continued to wreck his system. He hated the feeling of it and yet, Alexander knew well there was rather little he could do of it. He was grateful that the pair had reached the top of those stairs without incident, that apartment almost welcoming despite it's rather bare and almost dilapidated state. He plopped rather ungracefully upon that sofa, a soft breath upon his lips. Dear God, that had been harder than he had anticipated. It wasn't until that sudden movement beside him that his gaze turned towards that strange woman, his eyebrow rose ever so slightly at the girl's insistence she was a doctor. Really? And she had no idea about....any of this? Weren't doctors in this city taught of the bodies of the supernatural just as much as the human ones? He shook his head ever so slowly, his gaze still settled on her with a glimpse of surprise. "Have you even...finished your medical studies?" Alexander inquired with a slight hint of concern only to offer her a small shrug. "There is nothing you can do. It works like any drug, it just has to run it's course and then it's gone. My body will fight it better than most...an hour or two and..I'll be fine." He sounded tired, even to himself. This venom was taking a toll on him.
