South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

He couldn't be more glad that Adelaide had never given up on her dreams of freedom and came to America to start up a life of her own. He never would have gotten the chance to meet her and connect with her the way they had. She was so spirited and so stubborn. He could see how she must have drove her father crazy with her yearning heart. Of course he knew all about adventure since he had spent every day since childhood chasing after it himself. He had never done anything but let his own father down anyway so it was expected of him after a while just to be a screw up and do whatever it was he wanted to do. He had tried the whole settling down thing once but it didn't turn out so great for him when his fiance decided to sleep with his coworker so he made a decision right then and there to leave that town behind and make a new life for himself. That's exactly what he was finding in Sacrosanct. He had met Adelaide in a burlesque and then took a job doing yardwork and other household chores for her and her (butler? doorman?) He wasn't quite sure what to title Townsend but it was obvious he was her friend and caretaker in a way. He only wanted what's best for her and that didn't include Taylor.

Taylor was determined to win Townsend over too though and he wouldn't give up so easily. He wanted to be there to support Adelaide through all her trials and dreams as she worked to make them come true. She was working on starting a business up here in Sacrosanct and he had done nothing but encourage her. He'd watched her read through those business books while he did the yardwork. He could see that determination so fierce and unyielding in her eyes and he knew she would do everything she set out to accomplish. He watched as all the pieces began to fall into place for her, so perfectly it was like it was meant to be. She had staff soon enough and the place picked out and he just smiled proudly as she told him about her grand opening. She looked so alive in those moments that he wished he could forget that Townsend was just a few feet away sipping his coffee and lean in and kiss those beautiful lips once more. But of course he would behave himself, only giving her a proud smile, his eyes twinkling with happiness for her. He knew he wouldn't be able to stay away when she opened those doors so he had come out to the beach at dawn, watching the sun rise from the sand dunes and relaxing to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.

Finally he heard familiar voices and turned his head to see the bistro doors opening. He could already make out Adelaide in a gorgeous floor length dress that showed off her curves so well. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her. She turned and went back inside the bistro and he slowly got to his feet, dusting off his faded jeans and gray tshirt before heading that way. He watched the other staff members heading in as he walked that way, taking his sweet time so he could take everything in. The atmosphere of the beach was just so peaceful. He could see why Adelaide chose this place. Her bartender showed up in a black leather jacket and dress shirt and Taylor took him in curiously. When he spoke, it had a strong Irish accent and he wondered if it was real. The next one in was a boisterous red head who looked all too excited to be there. Taylor couldn't help but smirk as he watched her practically bounce into the bistro, talking to everyone in a friendly voice. Adelaide knew how to pick them. He was just glad these people had come together to help her out. He had offered to help out at the bistro any time she needed an extra hand. He knew that's what her employees were for and Townsend never hesitated to let him know just how many other chores he had for him to do around the house but Taylor would never turn down doing something for Adelaide.

he finally made his way to the door and peeked his head in, giving Adelaide that 1000 watt smile when his eyes picked her out. "Am I too early for the grand opening or do you think I can grab a seat before this place fills up?" His eyes twinkled with mischief as he made his way in and found a little couch off to the side where he could hide out for a little while and watch Adelaide work. He figured she wouldn't be distracted at all whereas he would be the one working to keep his eyes from following her around the place. He did find time to smile at the other people present, holding out his hand to the guy closest to him. "Nice to meet you, I'm Taylor, Adelaide's personal slave and landscaper." He gave her a playful wink as he smiled at the two girls. "Hi, nice to meet you."
