South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

What a weird dude this Killian fellow was. Fairly chill guy though, Arlo supposed. Inoffensive, calm, kinda chatty and really it would be almost a shame to see the fellow get himself drained out here in the park. This city was running out of pleasant people. Arlo was almost sure of that. Hell, most cities were running out of good people these days. Then again, maybe that was just him. After all, he did tend to spend most of his time around the vampires of one city or another. Vampires, generally, not the world's most upstanding citizens if only because of the manner they got their food. Few vampires in the world lucky enough to find someone willing enough to feed them and even then, most needed more than one willing doner. Not that Arlo supposed it mattered to him very much, after all, they all tasted the same in the end- no matter who they fed off in turn. Arlo perfectly content to pilfer their meal. It was that accent of the other man though that distracted his own thoughts. The vampire commenting off-handedly about the Irish-Land he was mostly sure Killian came from. Not that he really knew either way. He'd never cared for geography much. That's what he got from dropping out of school at sixteen he supposed and being high.....for.....most of his life. Maybe he had known about Ireland once and just forgotten it. Could drugs mate you forget things? Arlo frowned slightly in that consideration as Killian offered that explanation.

"Sounds kinda cool, I mean i've never really seen any place with 'rolling green hills'. Spent all my life in cities. I cant even go out in the daylight anymore so i guess I wouldn't be able to see them anyway. Why'd you leave a place like that to come to a place like this?"

Irish-Land, Ireland...whatever it was sounded nicer then this city. Arlo finding himself genuinely intrigued about just why Killian had come here at all. That mention off his own Crusnik status earned him that blank look he got from most people, Arlo long since having ceased to attempt to explain it. They didn't understand. They never did, not really and yet he hardly found he minded. It was what it was. People didn't understand him and vampires didn't like him. Still, he could do one good deed for the day right? If walking Killian safety was his good thing for the day that had to count didn't it? Even if he was only really doing to get the Warlock away from his trap in the hopes of luring his real prey. Still, the Irishman seemed willing enough to take up the offer. Arlo gesturing to that path ahead then. If there was one good thing about being what he was it was generally that most vampires were unwilling to take him on- even if they hardly new about his general like of running away in most situations. Flight before fight was honourable too right?

"Come on the, bud. I know the way out."

He waited for Killian to come to his side then, Arlo shortening his stride a little to let the other man keep up with him. That sudden query about a girlfriend suddenly falling from his lips. Killian chuckling suddenly as if something about the idea was funny, Arlo affording him a near quizzical look then before the warlock promptly declared that women....weren't exactly his thing. Huh.

"Oh. Sorry 'bout that. Well, if it helps you ain't gonna have to worry about that in this city. I swear to god the last four guys I met were all more interested in dudes then girls so you'll fit right in."

Truthfully Arlo was starting to think he had some sort of vibe with the amount of, well, guys who didn't like girls that he seemed to find himself in the company off. Was it the way he was dressing? Should he ask? Nah, that didn't seem like the sort of thing you could ask another dude, gay or otherwise. Arlo's feet scuffing at the pavement now. His gaze lifting to survey that park again if only to make sure there was nothing and no one lingering close by, his own senses further extending into the night.

"If your a Warlock, can't you just make someone fall in love with you? I mean, I dunno how this magic stuff works but do you even need to look for a boyfriend or can you just magic someone into being it? How powerful are you?"

What? It was a legitimate question.
