South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South

She would be lying if she didn't admit to being a little nervous about tonight, but she was more excited than anything. She looked forward to a good brawl with a Hunter. She felt she needed it after finding out that's who put an arrow in her leg and turned her whole life upside down as it is. Plus it was her turn to show Frost what her skillset was as a pack member. She wanted a purpose and he was giving it to her. Now she didn't want to let him down. He was leading them quietly through the forest. This was like home to her. She had been in these woods most of the time in the past year or so that she'd called Sacrosanct home. She was more comfortable here any day than in the middle of the city. It was second nature to her to try to be as quiet as possible, since she was still a hunter herself by nature. Still, she followed in Frost's foot steps, knowing he knew better than she what they were looking for as far as signs of a Hunter. When he looked back at her, she nodded to let him know she had his back.

She listened as he explained that they might run into a vampire. Her eyes lit up at the idea since she hadn't met a vampire yet. She stuck out her lip in a pout when he told her to let the vampire pass and don't engage. "Taking away all the fun." She mumbled. Even so, she was still listening and she nodded to let him know she understood when he explained that they smell dead. Then he explained that a Hunter smells human but she should be able to detect them with her other senses. Her brows knitted together in determination as she nodded again. "Got it." She whispered. She put all her senses on alert, not wanting to be taken off guard. As he leaned against a tree, she took in her environment. This was her territory as far as being outside and in the woods but at the same time, it would be new for her since she was in her human form. She'd never fought as a human before. Luckily for her, she could still bring out her claws and she'd used that against the demon she fought with the warlock at the park before so at least she knew her limits.

She knew the plan wouldn't be as straight forward as she might like but she was used to tackling her problems head on and this would be no different. She had Frost as her back up if she needed it but she knew he was going to let her do most of the thinking on this one. It made her feel good that he would put that faith in her. Then he told her that he would only help if needed and that she only needed to ask questions and he could get the answers from their mind if they didn't say them out loud. Her brow lifted. "Wow, that's neat. Must come in handy." She almost pouted again but at least she got to have fun in the physical sense, she reminded herself. He said that he was already disguising them and her eyes widened, clearly impressed. "Cool! Here I was thinking I'd have to dye my hair or something. You got some pretty cool skills there. I'm almost jealous." She grinned, her eyes lighting up in eagerness for the fighting ahead. She scrunched up her nose at his comment about what she would look like in animal form though.

"Ew, a dog? Couldn't make me something cool like a bear or something?" She smirked. Finally she shook her head. "No more questions. Let's do this." She went to a tree and nimbly leapt up into the branches, content to watch and wait from above since that seemed a lot more fun than waiting in the bushes.
