South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Scared and confused the scarred lupine was having a difficult time assessing just what was going on and what she needed to do to get herself out of this particular situation. She was not blessed with any sort of power to attack with an intense offense. Sure, she could change size, but when she attempted to grow bigger or smaller for some reason the muzzle remained attached. Perhaps due to her fear she had incorrectly labeled some of the miscreants that chased her as human, one of them had to be a warlock. That could be the only reason. Panicked and in need to protect herself, the frightened she-wolf was on full alert. Icy blue-grey eyes narrowed when she noticed the slump figure over underneath the tree. Grey tinged hackles rose feeling more defenseless. Instantly black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp ivories that remained useless within the leather muzzle. As the creature of the night began to stand up, her head would tilt upwards catching that familiar burning scent of whisky. Should she escape this unscathed she would get herself a drink to celebrate. Whisky was the perfect drug to take to chase her memories away, if for a few moments. Besides, the burning sensation of that amber liquid going down her throat was quite a delightful taste if in the right moment. Though right now was not the time to drown her sorrows. Her skull would tilt to the side puzzled as he called out with his inquiry.

Slowly the oddly marked lupine would back away from him with a few steps. Unable to trust others on the spot, be they male or female, she was unwilling to answer his question. Yes, she needed help, this was too obvious, but how could she afford the risk to seek his offer? For all she knew it could be laced with malice intent. Another low warning growl was given to him, her front legs spreading apart as she attempted to move her frame into a defensive position, yet she was no longer able to stand. The tranquilizer dart had managed to numb her entire left back side, causing the girl to sit on the ground. A soft whimper managed to come from her enclosed muzzle as she turned her head around taking note of her useless backside. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed the tall figure start to lower himself to the ground, whipping her head back to the front, eyes widen at the sight. Wearily she stuck her neck out, slightly, unsure of his actions. As he crept closer, his form lowered to the ground his eyes not looking at her directly, her hackles would slacken slightly, taking note of his nonthreatening demeanor. One grey ear twitched hearing him speak and a rough snort of disapproval left her muzzle. Gently she would allow her voice to enter his head, her tone soft and uneasy.

"My name isn't Killer...I'm not a pet."

Her attention on him was gone and replaced with the sounds of the males coming their way. Once more Raven was frightened. As the males got closer, the Vampire would notice the group of 5 men carrying an assortment of weapons or tools that was meant to bring the wolf down. One held a rather long pole with a loop around it, meant to encircle her neck and tighten, and force her to be controlled. Three others held tranquilizer guns. However, there was one that smelled highly of warlock, but held a more special lethal gun, meant to attack other creatures of the supernatural world- but the other mortals were unaware with just how special his gun was. Seeing as she was trapped and unable to flee or attack her skull would turn facing the Vampire. Tonight she will take the route of 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend,' and pretend that for now she would align herself with the Vampire. Struggling to get up the entire back left side of the wolf refused to move, she was simply stuck. Unable to be of use and seeing how she was just a sitting duck; she sighed softly hanging her head low. Being a loner had its disadvantages. Unable to call or ask for help from a pack and seeing how she couldn't personally get herself out of this mess, and now dragging the Vampire along for the ride, her mournful voice gently brushed his mind again.

"I can't move my left side...you should just leave me be."

She had handled much worse things than this, she was sure she could endure whatever would now be thrown her way by these males that continued getting closer. I guess one could say, she Let The Cat Out of The Bag, she answered his question and did not wish for help. Oh, but how wrong she really was, at this point in time she needed all the help she could get.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
