South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

She didn't mean to do it. In all honesty it wasn't truly all her fault. If Jackal hadn't accidentally scheduled the Ark to be open during a full moon then everything would have been fine. Louie of the Ape pack wouldn't have attempted to usurp Tetradore as the rightful King of the West. There wouldn't have been a large hole at the top of the Ark where that beam once stood. Not to mention the furniture wouldn't have been destroyed and some of the alcohol stolen from the shelves. This was why they had insurance. Everything could be replaceable. Well, almost everything. The foolish orangutan, Louie, met a vicious and painful end. Some of his own pack mates were treated to a similar fate. Raven had no interest in adding names to her already bloody ledger. However, her other brutal lupine side didn't care whether are not she left victims in her path. Everyone told her she did the right thing. As a member of the Nightshade pack she was the only member present to accept Louie's challenge and defend the Nightshade reign of the West District. Louie and his pack anticipated her to crack at the unbearable pressure and submit to their will. Although she didn't fight in the ring as often as her Alpha and mate, when she did participate, her performance showed she wasn't one to mess with. And that was when she was sane and sound of mind. That night during her feral state a large display was given to all that witnessed that brutal onslaught. That the sweet, timid girl could turn into a terrifying monster.

Although everyone reassured her that she was okay, Raven felt it was best if she were away from the Ark for a few nights, giving herself a break. Usually when she wanted to find solace she would hole herself up in her bedroom and watch a movie or read a book, and at times if the weather was right she would go out for a run within the woods in the South. Tonight though Raven had a completely different idea. She wanted to observe sea turtle hatchings, and try to help them make it safely into the sea. On TV she learned about sea turtles and how they were an easy catch to their predators. This was something she disagreed with, and she was able to change it. Asking Tobias to come with her to the beach wasn't quite easy. The Were-Leopard hated water. Going to the beach and being near that water wasn't something he would enjoy. Yet maybe if he saw that the little creatures needed the water, and that it would provide them safety, then maybe he would learn that water can't be that bad. Raven was grateful that her mate would accompany with her on this mission to save the sea turtles. Whether he was going with her, because she asked, or he realized she needed time away from the Ark â€" it didn't matter. What mattered was that he came!

Finding the sea turtle nests wasn't too hard to do. In their respected animal forms they happily chased away the sea turtle predators throughout the night. While he helped chase the predators away Raven would follow the little sea turtles. Keeping close to the little sea critters she made sure they made it to the waters, keeping in mind where she stepped, because she didn't want to accidentally crush one. Eventually their task was done and for the rest of the night they played within the sand doing whatever they wished. Now though with the sun starting to rise it was time that the two of them made it back home. Although before the returned home and got some much sleep she was obliged to do something fun with her mate. After all she was the one that wished to stay out this late and be sure that no stragglers were left behind. Her mate insisted that they run along the beach where the high dunes were. Unable to dissuade him from the idea of a race, after all she was quite tired, she was willing to give it one go around. Racing through the tall dunes her grey paws sunk into the sand, making it difficult for the lupine to be as swift as she usually was when running. However, she was beating her spotted companion! As she leapt over a large sandy hill she yelped when her paws did not land on ground. Instead she rolled down the hill straight into the man standing along the shore. Scrambling to get up he lupinr formed turned into her human one. Blue-grey eyes stared at him in shock as she stood up quickly wiping the sand from her clothes. One arm was extended to him, to help him out, as she managed to stammer out with an apologetic tone.

"I'm...I'm sorry, are you okay?"
