South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

we built this city on broken glass

Even despite the chill within the air that so hinted at the promise of a coming winter the stallion found his body hot, overly so. That sweat that streaked his frame had darkened his normally snowy coloured pelt to a dampened grey. His flanks near foaming in a simple sign of the very intensity of that work they had finished only moments ago. His nostrils flared with each breath, drinking in that air almost greedily as his heavy, feathered feet struck at the earth. He remained attentive, all the same, to the small group of Hunters and WereHorses that followed behind him. Each of them sweating in turn- far more then himself. Frost significantly more fit then any of his companions and yet that was the very reason for that training. The Mounted Unit could not risk having out of condition Hunters or Horses. Frost having run that training alone tonight while Alexander attended to some sort of family dinner or something equally frivolous that Frost hardly cared to consider. His heavy frame paused beside the gate to that arena then, his muzzle lowered to push on it and swing it open. Each of those Hunters swung down from their mounts in turn, the reins lifted over their heads to lead them back through the stable complex one at a time. Several of those horses uttered their thanks towards him as they past, the majority of those Hunter riders fixing him with a glare. They disliked being commanded by a horse- especially in the absence of Alexander and yet none among them were willing to displease the towering white stallion in any sense lest word reach Alexander himself or indeed- Frost find them disdainful enough to offer his own punishment. His position as Alexanders own mount so ranking him significantly above every other being here. That Alpha blood inclined to run hotly in all things.

The last of those riders had only just stepped within that barn when his own name within the air prompted the war horse to pause once more, those sharp white ears pricked forward as his head lifted. That scent carried upon the breeze assuring him they were hardly alone. That command to see those WereHorses properly attend too and that barn locked up before they left was smoothly issued before Frost merely turned away from the group to head towards that scent that lingered in the air. A...dog....of some kind perhaps. Yet the scent was sharper, though not so pungent as the scent of fox tended to be. How very curious. In the least it best prove curious. Frost often inclined to find disdain in those things or beings whom wasted his time. Those heavily feathered hooves carried him towards the next set of stables that housed those real horses and ponies used by the riding school that rested within the park and yet he hardly lingered. That scent far stronger near the last of those barns- the empty barn. Those stables used largely for storage of feed and little else, its double doors near always open.

His hooves rang easily out as he strode in through those back doors and onto that concrete surface that floored the barn itself, that moon above providing just enough light to illuminate his own striking white figure within the darkness of that building as he strode towards those opened front doors and the small head that peered around them. He could see the heat signature of the creature already- too hot to be entirely animal alone. His affinity already extended to pluck at the thoughts within the other man's mind and yet he no more then teased at them for now. It was so very much more entertaining to learn the reason for this fellows existence from the fellow himself rather than spoil that intrigue. His breath rose like smoke from his nostrils, steam rising from his body as it cooled rapidly in the night air, Frost at last stepping from that barn and out into that clearing before it where that dog-like creature lingered. A Jackal. Hmmm. Yet not the one that guarded Tetradores Ark. No. This was someone else.

Those strange violet eyes peered curiously beneath that snowy white forelock, the towering stallion eyeing that little creature with some vague measure of interest, his tail lashing up to flick at his flanks. His breathing from that early run well settled. Yet, for several moments still he was merely content to eye the creature. That near infamous expressionless facade offered towards him, Frost making little effort to hide that very judgement he afforded the creature before what little could be seen of his eyes fell more fully upon the Jackal's own. Those deep, cool lyrics readily echoing then.

"I hope, for your sake, that what you have to say, Little Jackal, is terrible interesting. So, what is it?"
