South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

It had occurred to him, somewhere within that maelstrom of thought that had all but overtaken his mind with the veritable....outrage that was the notion someone had put his girlfriend in a dumpster- that Serafina had, at least seemingly, made her peace with the entire affair. Sera seemed no more put out by his questions then she did offering him those simple, factual answers. The young witch beside him hardly seeming to garner any real emotion over the topic and yet, he supposed, what had he expected? Serafina, much like himself, was hardly prone to those outward pouring of emotions and yet the intensity off his own reaction had, well, surprised him- if he was being honest. The impassiveness with which Serafina seemed to regard the tale off her own life perhaps only making his own reaction appear all the more stark- even to himself. Still, he supposed, she had been given years to come to terms with information that was new to Azrael himself. He had known her parents were not around, that she had been essentially raised by that 'Mentor' or whatever the fuck that criminal wanted to call himself (Azrael having decided some time ago the man sounded exactly like a criminal) and yet he had hardly realised the true extent off her own abandonment as an infant. Much less her life on what he could only presume was the streets with some homeless woman no less!

He had hardly anticipated that....protectiveness that flared within him. It was foolhardy, he knew. He could hardly reverse time and right those wrongs and yet still, the idea off her alone at such a young, of everything that could have happened to her, of everything that probably had had happened was....difficult to accept. Her parents had failed her, the system had failed her, the government had failed her- some part of him almost determined to make up for those failings, somehow. His own affections for her, surely, prompting that increased desire to keep her safe from the world at large. Azrael daring to glance toward her then. His own emotions perhaps clearer then he had intended to allow them to be. Serafina commenting softly that it had been a long time ago. As if somehow that excused it. Christ, maybe it did. What could he do here and now? Very little he supposed and yet his min struggled to comprehend it all the same. That all to familiar irritation rising within him then and yet that anger was hardly directed toward Sera so much as it was directed toward the world at large and those individuals in her past whom he deemed worthy off his irritation in that moment. He forced that sigh from his lips all the time, despite his own reluctance to let the matter slide. She was right, he supposed, there was little he could do now. Azrael kept his golden gaze upon that road ahead then despite the distinct meaning behind those words he uttered as his fingers ran through his hair.

"I suppose your right. I just have a hard time understanding why the fuck no one would want you. Your....the best person I know. It's their own damn faults they missed out on knowing you. I suppose the homeless lady counts. Sort off."

He could hardly help that very grumble those words took on all the same as that car turned off the highway, Azrael effortlessly shifting gears once more. The Dark Hunter silent for a few moments longer before that renewed sense of determination seemed to find him. Azrael rarely inclined to be resolute about this sort of thing and yet if he wasn't allowed to be angry about the past he couldn't fix then he was damn sure he could be determined when it came to fixing the future. Sera simply could not go on not existing as a recognised being in the world. If she meant something to him then she could damn well mean something to the rest of the world too. That swirl of emotions turning within him all over again. Enough to distract him from the fact she had her shoes on the leather off his seats. A contentious point between them. Azrael declaring a moment later that he was entirely sure that he could get her paperwork now if nothing else. He hardly anticipated Sera to shift in her seat, much less lean over that center console to press her lips to his cheek. That very gesture somehow soothing his irritation a little as his features softened ever so slightly. How rarely she used his real name and yet here and now he hardly minded. Its use seeming somehow appropriate. Azrael allowing his lip to quirk ever so slightly in that fleeting hint of a smile.

"I'm rarely sweet so you should remember this moment."

Those words were little more then a tease, Azrael making some effort to distract himself from his own discontent over the matter before re-focusing his attention upon the road ahead. That comment upon her name parting his lips then. After all, Serafina probably.....wasn't her name. Let alone the idea her last name was equally as dubious in its origins. His girlfriends insistence that she wouldn't know who else to be were she not Serafina was one he was willing enough to except. After all, he'd always known her as Serafina in turn. His gaze flicked to her own once more. Azrael briefly attempting to picture her as a......Janet or an Olivia or an Ava or whatever else women were named. She would always be.....Serafina. It suited her. The Hunter nodding softly in response before his thoughts again shifted to her parents and whether or not she actually wanted to find them. It would hardly be an easy thing to do and yet with the resources the Council had it was, he suspected, at least possible to start. Failing that they had more than one gifted Hunter amongst them who would be capable off using various affinities to track those people down. Azrael glancing toward his girlfriend then as Sera shrugged once more before offering that insistence there would be little point after all this time. They hadn't wanted her then. They likely wouldn't now. Azrael struggling still to accept that concept even if Sera herself seemed wholly at peace with it.

"If you ever change your mind let me know although I suppose your right. They might not be the sort of people you want to meet anyway."

The type of people who abandoned babies in dumpsters, he suspected, were not the type of people he considered he might enjoy sitting down to dinner with. Azrael dismissing the thought before that blush suddenly seemed to creep over Serafina's features. The sheer distraction over it forcing Azrael to hurriedly swerve to avoid taking the mirror off of a parked car. That surprise clear upon his features as he glanced from Sera to the road and back again. He was going to laugh? About her last name? Azrael affording her girlfriend a near suspicious look then.

"Do you mean I'm going to laugh like that time you put socks or Arik's feet and he couldn't walk or like that time you told me that fucking hat stand was going to attack me and I spent a year making wide circles around it while you laughed and I did not."

One eye lifted upward in clear anticipation. That curiosity tugging at his features all the same as he turned that car smoothly into Serafina's street before parking outside the town home that had, of late, very nearly turned into his home in turn. Azrael rarely spending more than a night or too at his own apartment any longer. The Hunter effortlessly shut off that engine then, Azrael leaning effortlessly agianst the steering wheel before glancing back toward Sera in anticipation.

"I promise not to laugh- and you know I'm not lying or I couldn't say it. Im curious now. Why were you blushing? You didn't get your name off a cereal box or something did you?"
